Hit new heights with the included telescopic ladder with adjustable raises too – plus, an aluminium mounting base with two T-slot mounting tracks and stainless steel mounting brackets allowing fitment to various roof rails, offering true versatility on every outdoor adventure. Plus, three exterior entry points from both the side and the rear of the tent ensure easy access, where high-density tulle windows offer breathability from the hazy mornings to the hot nights.

Hi, Will this be able to be mounted to a rhino pioneer platform rack?
G'day Josh,
The brackets that come with the Inspired Overland tents are wide enough for a standard roof rail, and arent directly compatible with platfrom racks - the slats are too big.
You can grab the Rhino Rack Pioneer Accessory bars to make mounting pretty straight forward.
Alternatively you'd need to come up with a DIY solution, likely using 5mm flat bar from Bunnings or similar hardware store, and creating some longer clamp pieces that would fit around the Pioneer slats.
Hi would this roof top tent be able to be installed to a Rola Titan roof platform
G'day Tim,
We'd say that it could be compatible, however we'd recommend you watch the installation video for more specific details of the fixings that come with the tent and the installation process. It would be worth discussing the suitability of your specific set-up with Rola regarding roof rating and mounting options etc.
Hi, is this a tent that you could use as a full time touring tent for a lap around Australia or would you recommend one of the more premium tents like Emroo, Alucab, Bush Company etc?
G'day Simon,
The cover is a high quality PVC tonneau, much like you would get on the back of a ute or truck.
Lifespan for this kind of cover is anywhere between 5-10 years, depending on how well you care for your gear.
Giving it a clean a couple of times a year with a quality Vinyl cleaner & UV protectant is good practice, and will have it lasting a long time.
Hi i want to know the dimensions of the mounting brackets themselves to see if they will fit a brand of roof rack i want thanks
G'day Josh,
I've just measured these ones for you and the mounting brackets supplied will fit roof rails up to 93mm wide.
Some roof top tents give their weight but this is no including the mattress or the ladder. Is this the same? Or is it 38kg with the ladder and mattress?
G'day Nick,
We've not weighed the rooftop tent ourselves, this weight is based on specifications provided by Inspired Overland. As far as we're aware the weight includes the mattress and ladder.
Will the Exped MegaMat Duo 10 or MegaMat Max Duo 15 fit in this tent when closed? If so, would there be any spare room for bedding as well? Cheers
G'day Lachlan,
All self-inflating mat brands have advised us that their mats are not to be kept inside a packed roof top tent of any kind. Even if the mat remains flat, it can be subject to large temperature fluctuations in a roof top tent over the course of the year which can effect the glue and bondings on the foam.
There have been a few claims on self inflating mats that have bubbled or ballooned out for this reason, and are not covered by warranty.
Ofcourse you can use it in your rooftop tent, but we'd strongly advise removing it for pack up.
Hello, how wide apart are the mounting rails and can they easily be moved? I'm looking to install on a Tracklander roof rack (security door mesh style) and am unable to get my hand underneath to secure the nuts if its inside the roof rack legs.
G'day Anthony,
The rails are 85cm apart, centre to centre, and sit 23cm in from the outer edge of the rooftop tent.
The mounting rails on the Inspired Overland tents are fixed, and shouldn't be moved.
Hopefully that will work for you!
Hey do you think a diesel heater duct (80mm) would fit in through the zip for the power access?
G'day Warren,
The power zip is only 8cm wide but if you were wanting to put a tube through, the maximum diameter would be 50mm.
The Carbon version of this tent has ducting access points specifically designed for use with a heater, it may be worth checking out.
