I ordered an OUTDOOR CONNECTION SHOWER TENT OUTHOUSE on the 02/05/2012. It arrived sometime today 8/05/2012, which considering the long weekend here in QLD was excellent. The delivery instructions said leave near the front door. The courier did this and even put it behind the table and chairs at the front to make it less obvious to passers by. I have just assembled and disassembled the outhouse and as I read the instructions it all went smoothly. We are looking forward to trying the shower tent out in a few weeks on a short trip.All in all a very good professional experience dealing with you and Snowy's. I would certainly recommend you to anyone else in need of camping gear. The camping checklist is an excellent idea.

Was in the shop for a while, and whilst there was offered help by at least 3 staff. The two directors chairs arrived in very good time and in good condition.Good service, thank you. I'd just like to advise that the description of the chairs on your website(which I ordered from)is not quite the same as delivered. The specs on w'site are 150kg capacity and Item as FCA-DCT-B when in fact the chairs delivered are 130kg and FCA-DCT-C. You might like to consider amending this before somebody gets nose out of joint and complains. I'm happy with the chairs and thanks again for the service. *Editor's note: We have now ammended the weight capacity on our website to 130kg and changed the product details.

I ordered the Black Wolf Mega Deluxe self inflating camp mattress (because I've discovered I've gone soft in my old age LOL) and after a quick phone call to your store to ask why it wasn't inflating, your store rep, Ben, patiently explained that the first time it inflates can take up to 24 hours. I really thought I should drop you a line to say how efficiently you treated my order. I ordered over the phone last Friday an Oztent Gecko stretcher ( a last minute decision prior to going away with the tent and caravan for 6 months) . Firstly I did not realise that you were based in S.A. and secondly that you had a long weekend coming up and it would be problematical as to whether I would get the stretcher before I left Sydney on Friday 15th. You literally must have pulled out all the stops because the stretcher was delivered on Tuesday morning……which really I think was quite incredible. Although I don’t now purchase a lot of additional camping gear……………..over the years its amazing what one does acquire, rest assured the next time I am in the market, Snowys will be my first thought.

I have just received my order – thankyou for the great service and delivery time. I was unable to source this product locally (I live 400 kms from Perth). The Perth distributors wanted $5.95 plus $10.15 postage so I looked further on the internet and found your site and saved $11.60. Unfortunately your website does not appear to cover all the products you supply such as solar panels shown in SNOWY’s check list pamphlet. A more complete list on the web would be better for internet shoppers.

To Snowy’s Management: Congratulations on having the excellent ‘David’ as one of your team! My wife and I came in on Monday looking for a tent after seeing your print ad. G'day snowy staff. Thank you very much, It was a ripper of a mug! It was very handy getting it on Friday and being able to take it with me to Ballarat for a wood show. There were so many people I couldn't get back to it for about three hours, and I was surprised to find it was still hot enough to drink. This style is far superior then those horrible plastic things, my cup of tea used to taste like plastic. This one is beautiful and they do work very well with cold drinks too, which is why I wanted two of them. My mother did pinch the other one off of me so I thought I would just get two and have one spare in case one more disappears. LOL! So thank you again, they definitely are a ripper.

Dear the Customer Service Team, I really thought I should drop you a line to say how efficiently you treated my order. I ordered over the phone last Friday an OZTENT Gecko stretcher, a last minute decision prior to going away with the tent and caravan for 6 months. Firstly I did not realise that you were based in SA. Secondly, I did not realise that you had a long weekend coming up and it would be problematical as to whether I would receive the stretcher before I left Sydney on Friday the 15th.You literally must have pulled out all the stops because the stretcher was delivered on Tuesday morning, which really I think was quite incredible. Although I don’t purchase a lot of additional camping gear, over the years it’s amazing what one does acquire, rest assured the next time I am in the market Snowys will be my first thought.

Found this place looking for a Black Wolf pack and hydration combo for my partners birthday as we hike and camp regularly. Ordered a Coleman Big Game Sleeping Bag on the 27th June. Posted 30th June. Arrived 1st July. That is fantastic service guys. We'll be ordering another soon. These bags with the soft canvas outer shell are extremely warm but more importantly, they don't slip and slide around inside swags, and on the camper trailer mattress like the standard bags have in the past. Also if you're like me, bigger frame and hate that feeling of having bound up feet in the standard bag, you really can't do better than one of these Coleman Big Game bags. Thanks again guys.

I purchased the thermos floating bottle, just wanted to let you know what a great product, keeps hot drinks a lot longer than any other flask I have used. Just wanted to provide some feedback in relation to my recent purchase.  Overall extremely happy with the service and products I purchased.  Despite ordering and being told that a product was not available then cancelling my order only to reorder a day later (sorry for that ) it was no trouble on your behalf.  Despite being the lead up to Christmas order arrived in a timely manner.  I am happy with my purchases and the price I paid, particularly my tent the Black Wolf Tuff Dome Twin.  Taking into delivery (free!) it was the best value anywhere online in Australia or in a bricks and mortar store.  Although I made the purchase tent unseen (but heavily researched it online) I can’t stress enough how happy I am with it.  Everything about this tent oozes quality particularly the materials and fabrication (even friends who are seasoned campers were impressed). Having just returned from my family camping trip it performed really well and I can see this tent is going to last us a long time.  I’m also very impressed with the Black Wolf Mega Deluxe Self Inflating Mat which makes for a great night’s sleep being extremely comfortable! My only criticism and it’s not directed at Snowys, is the tracking facility operated by your choice of courier.  When tracking I could see it was scanned into their SA depot but from then on until it arrived in the WA depot there was no indication that it had been scanned onto a truck and was in transit which did cause some concern given our impending camping trip.  Having used other couriers and their tracking mechanisms in the past, goods were able to be seen as being in transit.  Perhaps in this instance it was an exception to the rule and scanning onto the truck was overlooked. Suffice to say it arrived safely and about a week before we needed it so no major drama. In summary very happy with Snowys and would definitely use you again. Regards,

Not only was it the best price on the net – but the advice was good, the product was exceptional (it kept my normally frozen girlfriend in good spirits down to -7!) and to my great surprise arrived literally three days after I ordered it. I have since been carrying my receipt around in the car to remind me to contact, thank and compliment Snowy’s outdoor company for their great customer service. In late October we left for Tassie and completed the full length of the Overland – with no complaints– skipping the boat to enjoy more camp food. Hi, You did well, the screen house has just arrived. I will make a couple of comments; not really a criticism, just observations. Hunter transport did well but their tracking feature is let down by the fact that you can see the date of various points when the item gets to the next stage of the journey but not the place? The screen house itself is great but let down by Oztent. It seems to come from a design by Clam Corporation in the US, gets made in China? and is marketed by three entities around the world; Clam and Leisure (someone) have videos on Youtube but Oztent does not. To me, that is a failure of marketing as their version is slightly different and seemingly lesser spec. It is also a disappointment to find that there are no pegs and lines to help hold the thing down in the wind, not even instruction on how to do it??? It may be the best but it is expensive and to have to pay extra for walls rankles a bit. I also feel the screen house could be improved by making the walls taller, rectangular rather than square, giving a lighter and airier feel without increasing the length of the packed item. I intend to make a shade cloth floor sheet which will help in putting up and packing the screen house, protecting the mesh from getting hooked on grass and twigs. Dear Snowys Today I received the walking pole I ordered last Thursday. Very impressive service! The Leki pole exactly matches (except for lock colour) a pole I bought in England two years ago. Deciding recently that a planned hike in New Zealand might require two poles, I attempted to buy a match at several retail stores here in Melbourne. Some didn’t stock Leki and those that did only sold them in pairs. These paired poles didn’t have the long handle I prefer & few had the speed lock mechanism. So – thank you very much. Hi George, Thanks for the opportunity to supply feedback on our recent transaction with Snowys.  We purchased a Black Wolf Double Mega deluxe self inflating mattress that was shipped to our home address in Toowoomba free of charge. Your offer was the best in the country and even giving our local outdoor stores an opportunity to keep the business local, your pricing structure knocked the socks off the others. Delighted with the service and although the packaging was slightly damaged in transit, the contents appear to be just fine. As it happened, while the goods were being shipped to us, we were on our way to Adelaide but elected to take advantage of the free shipping offer with concerns re-size of the package considering flight luggage restrictions etc. but I’m inclined to think this wouldn’t have been an issue anyway.  We encouraged our son to purchase a large family tent and accessories from your store while we were in Adelaide and we were induced to drop a few more dollars into your coffers as well during our visit!  Incidentally, we met Dave while in the store and a more knowledgeable and pleasant individual would be hard to find. Toward the end of 2014 I went to the caravan and camping show in Adelaide. I was looking for a new tent as I was having trouble lifting my Oz tent on the roof of my 4x4. I noticed that the Snowys camping store stand had the Black Wolf turbo tent erected. I spoke with the sales staff about the tent, I found them all to be really friendly and polite and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I ended up buying the Turbo lite240 tent and the front panel and 2 deluxe side panels.

On the Australia day week-end in 2015 I went to Newcastle to see my son. The weather for the first few days was fine but then it changed, we had thunder and lightning and heavy rain. But I was warm and dry in my turbo tent, not a drop of rain got in.

So I would like to thank all the staff at Snowys for helping me so much. I would also like to thank the makers of the Black Wolf Turbo tent for making such a good product.

You have totally exceeded my expectations of service and value for money.  We searched so many retailers for the backpack we needed to meet our requirements for an upcoming trip to Gallipoli for the 2015 centenary.  Once we found the make, model and size we desired we struggled to find a retailer who could give us the colour choice we desired.  Your staff member, George, was incredible with his willingness to help and ensure we got what we wanted, going above and beyond our expectations.  The colour we wanted was not listed on your site so we called to check what was possible as the item was listed on the wholesale suppliers website in our chosen colour.  He checked the warehouse stock and assured me that if we placed the order for a slightly different colour, he would pack and despatch the ones we wanted, explaining it was old stock and he would get it from the wholesaler if necessary.  He noted our names so he could find the order when it came through on his packing list. Your price was competitive also, however, after this experience I would always now check your store first for our needs.  In addition, I love the inclusion of a travellers check list with the order!  It is a perfect gesture of thoughtful, quality service, something that is sorely missing in the retail world today.

The blog on sleeping bag temperatures was very informative and won you my business. Your price was also very competitive. The item was out of stock with an estimated arrival date. I called to confirm the date. Got onto a helpful person straight away, they gave me the same info as the website - fantastic! I ordered - no issues. A few days before the due date I received an informative honest email explaining the delays from the supplier and the new delivery date. On the new delivery date I received a call confirming that it had arrived and to confirm 'leave at door'. I explained that I was hoping to use the sleeping bag on the weekend and the person offered a different, faster shipping method to get the bag to me at no extra cost. Fantastic! I have more bags to buy so if I am happy with the bag itself will be ordering more from Snowy's. Hi, I purchased a blow-up mattress from you a few months ago and wanted to thank you for the outstanding customer service I received. I live in Melbourne and ordered the mattress on-line at around 1pm.  I received a confirmation email at approx. 3pm that day, thanking me for placing the order and advising me that my mattress had been packed and sent by courier. The very next day at around 11am, the courier was knocking on my door!!! I have never received such prompt, polite service from an in-store purchase...let alone an on-line one!!  I don't typically purchase a lot of camping style products, but let me tell you...if I EVER needed anything that your store carries, I would not hesitate to contact you again. Good afternoon, Today I received my order. I am very impressed with how smooth, easy and quick my order was processed and delivered. I actually first purchased this bag from another online company last week. After I paid for it, they contacted me saying that it was not in stock until the end of May (even though their website said it was in stock). I asked that they refund me as I couldn’t wait until end of May. They agreed to the refund. The next day I ordered the same bag with you. Then the following day I received an email from the first company saying that my bag had been ‘dispatched’. I contacted them asking why they dispatched my bag when they said that it wasn’t in stock. They told me that they found it in stock and decided to send it and they haven’t processed my refund. I told them that I already ordered the bag with you because they didn’t have it. They apologised and said that when I receive their bag, to bring it to the post office and mark it as ‘return to sender’. What a pain. Not only that, but i still haven’t received my refund from them which has left me out of pocket over $100! The reason why I am telling you the full storey is so that you can see the difference between an efficient company and a disorganised one. Thank you very much. I have been after this particular backpack for a while now and managed to find it on quite a few sites but Snowy's Outdoors was the most appealing with lowest price and free postage. The only downside of this online order was my mobile phone number was incorporated within the delivery address which of course is visible on the outside of the parcel. I wouldn't think this was common policy when mailing out orders as it could be considered a breach of privacy. I just love my padded Thermos padded bag. I have had a Shuttle Chef for about 6 months and I wasn't very happy with it as it was always cold and not cooked very well. Hi Anya, Received my order today, very pleased with how quickly I received my order and the checklist and feedback slip was a really nice touch. Only thing I am a bit disappointed about is the way it arrived. I appreciate you put fragile stickers on and bubble wrapped however Australia post seems to have disregarded those stickers and the box is really bent and dinted. Normally I would not care in the slightest but I bought as a gift and it looks like it's been through the wars. Luckily my partner probably won't even notice but thought I would let you know.

Hi, I have received my rent and all is good. This is just for your information. The tent arrived yesterday afternoon (9th December) after ordering it on the 3rd December. In this day and age, taking 6 days to get a package from Adelaide to Sydney seems unneccesarily long when on-line purchases from overseas arrive in less time. I think it was longer than you indicated it would take too. Anyway, thank you, the tent looks great and the price was very good.

Hi there, I bought my husband the Oztent Gecko Directors Chair with max weight 150kg for Christmas. It arrived in a secure box which my grandchildren now play in. Our big boy loves it. He took it to a relative’s place on Christmas day and sat in it. I have just removed it from the lounge room where he thinks that he can leave it! Now it is neatly packed in its carrybag ready for him to take to model sailing and model flying. He was surprised at the light weight of the chair but it accommodates him beautifully. It is the best value and quality for a big mens chair that I have seen so far. We would be very happy if he can get at least 5 years wear out of it. Thank you for great service at a good price.

Hi guys, Your price was the cheapest I could find and was delivered faster than I had thought possible, especially given the peak postage delays this time of year. When I opened the box I was stoked to find the tent had clearly been packed very carefully for safest transit - bubble wrap and all, much nicer packing than the tent will find in my pack!
