Locking handle? 1 answer
Does the handle lock into place when in use so you don’t risk burning yourself when pouring water.
Kim - Bendigo, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Kim,
The Campfire Kettle's handle folds down on the right-hand side, so doesn't necessarily lock into place but when you unfold the handle, it stays in the middle and won't fold to the left side. The handle is attached tight and isn't wobbly, when in use I don't see the handle moving very easily.

Material
Sing - Melbourne (4 years ago)
G'day Sing,
I've just double checked this for you, and yes the 304 stainless steel has been stamped into the base of the kettle.

Can it be used on the camp fire?1 answer
Eg on the coals? Or just stovetop?
Hayley - Perth(6 years ago)
G'day Hayley,
Given that the Campfire whistling Kettle has a plastic handle and nozzle, I'd suggest that you might be best off just keeping it on the stove and not putting it into the campfire.

Is it possible to buy replacement parts ie. whistling spout or handle?1 answer
James - MELBOURNE, VIC(8 years ago)
Not for these sorry James, if you have an issue with one of these within 12 months of purchase you can put in a warranty claim, but spare parts are not readily available.

Andrew - HELENSBURGH, NSW(9 years ago)
Hi Andrew, I've updated these details to our website. For the 4L kettle the base is a few mm under 22.5 cm in diameter and stands at 17 cm high with the handle collapsed, and 25 cm high with the handle extended.
