Does this kettle work on induction, or do you have any that do
G'day Jeff,
No, unfortunately this one doesn't work on induction. At this point in time we don't have any kettles that are suitable for use on induction stoves.
Hi, do you think this will sit safely on the Furno stove? If not, do you have an alternative pot with a pouring lip or kettle in stock that will? Thanks
G'day Mandi,
You could use the Whistling Kettle on the Furno Stove, however we'd recommend proceeding with caution, and using your fuel can stabiliser as you'll want to make sure there is a wide base to support the kettle. Unfortunately, most of the lighter weight kettles are currently unavailable, we'd generally recommend the safest and most stable options are the Furno Kettle or X Pot Kettle.
Australia. Hopefully not China.
G'day Joe,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, they are made in China.
is this auatralian made..
G'day Antonia,
The Campfire Whistling Kettle is made in China.
does the spout cover lock in place when you open it, or do you have to hold it there?
G'day Jeanette,
I've just checked our display model and the spout cover on the Campfire Whistling Kettle stays open once you flick it up.
Hi Is this kettle suitable for all surfaces including induction? Does it really boil fast? And does the lid handle fold too? Thank you!
G'day Nicky,
I'll answer your questions about the Campfire Whistling Kettle in the same order you asked them... No, it doesn't work on induction cooktops. Yes, it does boil pretty darn fast and yes, the handle does fold down for packing.
Want know if this or a standard Billy would be better.
G'day Chris,
Due to the plastic handles I wouldn't recommend putting it on an open flame for safety sake. (An open flame will also discolour the kettle). Perhaps a billy might be more versatile for you as you can boil water and make a feast!
