Is it Australian made?

G'day Marc,
No, they're not locally made. Campfire is manufactured offshore.

Enamel or Stainless Steel Billy?1 answer
Hi team! Wanting to purchase a teapot for camping and was wondering if you could give a personal experience on enamel vs SS? I would essentially like something that can handle well on a fire and is easy to pour from. I understand that this could just be a matter of preference in aesthetics, but are there any major differences that might sway the decision?
Thanks guys!
Rae - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Rae,
You're right in that it's very much a matter of preference. I personally prefer using a Stainless Steel billy as I find them to be a bit bigger, more multi-purposeful and durable to use. In saying that, I haven't had much experience with enamel either.
With some luck, there may be others in our community who are happy to offer an opinion here to help you out.

I'm told enamel can leach lead and cadmium. Is this true?1 answer
I'm told enamel can leach lead and cadmium. Is this true?
Cris - Ballarat(8 years ago)
Hi Cris,
I've just spoken to the supplier, and they've told me that the Campfire Enamel Coffee Pot does not have cadmium or lead in the enamel coating - so that shouldn't be an issue Cris.

Hi..Are these durable enough to go straight into hot coals?1 answer
Dave - GREENVALE, VIC(9 years ago)
G'day Dave - For sure. A couple of Snowys staff have these and pop them straight into the fire - just be careful with the handle when you're pulling it back out! Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

Does this coffee pot have the percolator inside or is it just the pot.
Narelle - Glossodia(9 years ago)
It has a percolator inside Narelle, best suited to a very coarse grind of coffee.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
Hi Narelle, Lisa from our customer service team just came up to me shaking her finger about some incorrect advice I gave you. Turns out this coffee pot doesn't have a percolator sorry. I'm not sure what product I had in mind when answering your question, I've seen an enamel coffee pot with a percolator somewhere. To be quite honest I'm not sure why this is even called a coffee pot! Anyway, I just wanted to apologise, I hope I didn't cause too much inconvenience.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
Ben @ Snowy's, could you please check with the supplier why their enamel cook set pot has a perculator but this single pot does not. I'd like to purchase this pot with perculator but do not want to purchase the whole 11 pieces.
Leonie - UMINA BEACH(6 years ago)
G'day Leonie,
I've just called Companion Brands to check and unfortunately the Enamel Coffee Pot with built-in percolator is only available in the set, not individually.
