Use lightweight disposable LPG canisters to power your gas stove with this handy 1"-20 UNEF to 3/8" BSP adapter.
Negates the need to carry bulky LPG cylinders for short getaways, once attached to a lightweight LPG cannister enables connection of your 3/8" BSP gas stove hose.

Hi Do you have a fitting, 3/8 BSP to go onto 2kg cylinder with a UNEF Lindel fitting for the appliance to screw on to?
G'day Mark,
We don't, sorry! This particular adapter is for UNEF/BOM fittings for disposable LPG/Propane canisters for camping stoves.
The Lindel B188 valve for IsoButane/Propane canisters for hiking stoves, etc is a different fitting for a specific fuel mix.
Generally, gas appliances that use 3/8thBSP, UNEF/BOM fittings are not compatible with alternative fuel mixes, and vice versa.
Does this adaptor, Gasmate UNEF to 3/8" BSP Gas Cylinder Adapter, suit the Thermacell Backpacker?
G'day Ian,
No, it does not. The Thermacell Backpacker can only be run on Isobutane/Propane Hiking gas canisters with a threaded EN417 (Lindal B188) valve. The most common options for this are Jetboil or MSR, and whilst we cannot ship them, they should be available at most camping or outdoor stores.
would this work ok to fit the coleman disposable propane bottles to the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove
G'day John,
You could use the UNEF to 3/8" BSP adapter on the end of your existing zempire hose to use disposable canisters. We do however recommend proceeding with caution when doing this and ensuring that the adapter seals well with no leaks, and the disposable canister can be set up stably and securely.
Can this used with a Weber Baby Q and the Coleman disposable canisters
G'day Werner,
We don't sell Weber so it's hard to know, however, I believe based on some quick reading that the Weber uses a 3/8" SAE fitting which is a little different than a 3/8" BSP, so I don't think you'll be able to use disposable cylinders with your Weber.
The opposite to the one pictured
Maybe something like these, Rob? - https://www.snowys.com.au/cylinder-hose-kit-pol, https://www.snowys.com.au/cylinder-hose-kit-38
Keep in mind that if there is a regulator in the system, you need to keep it in the system.
Do you have the opposite fitting to run small bbq off a larger bottle?
G'day Rob,
I'm guessing that you have something with a 3/8" BSP thread that is designed to fit to a small 1-4kg gas bottle? If so, you can run it from a larger 4 or 9kg BBQ bottle using this adapter.
Hey, I have the gasmate 2 burner stove. Will this adapter let me use disposable lpg canisters with the hose gasmate provides? Instead of using a big gas bottle?
G'day Sam,
Yes the UNEF to 3/8" BSP adapter will adapt your hose so that you can use disposable LPG cylinders.
will the smaller top thread fit the Thermacell outdoor backpacker mosquito unit model THMRBP? I have lots of Coleman 16oz/453gm propane camping bottles I wish to adapt this unit to that I had just purchased from snowys thank you
G'day Derick,
The Backpack Mosquito Repeller is designed to run from the hike style Isobutane Canisters, so, unfortunately, it can't be run from the Coleman Propane style cylinders as they are a different gas mixture.
Can this be used with the Companion High Outpot stove (25,000BTU)? Description for the stove says that it *must* be used with the supplied hose and regulator. Does this screw on to the regulator and allow usage of disposable Coleman cylinders? Pls advise!
G'day GR,
You can theoretically use the UNEF to 3/8 BSP Adapter to run your stove from the Coleman/BOM style 465g cylinders by connecting the adapter to the regulator at the end of the hose. However, given that Companion don't recommend this you would do so at your own risk. We probably wouldn't actively suggest doing this.
Is this left handed thread?
G'day Mon,
Yes, the Gasmate UNEF to 3/8 BSP Adapter is a left hand thread.
