Safe to connect Primus High Output 2 burner1 answer

I have Primus High output 2 burner LPG that has 6.3mm LP gas hose as 4621 max wp 2.6MPa class "c" sai gscg20068-2008 and my 3/8 gas cylinder has expired. Can I use this adapter to connect my stove to POL 3.7kg swap and go

G'day Dee,

I cant see why you would have issues - theis adapter connects a 3/8th bsp hose to a POL gas bottle.
The only consideration is that adding adapters, etc increases the points in the gas line where there can be leaks.
Make sure you're doing a sopay water test when you're hooking up the gas bottle to ensure you've got tight seals.

I got this adaptor to connect my companion gas burner to a 4L gas bottle but it leaks. Is the piece I got unadapted/has a default? How is it fixable? Thanks

G'day Oriane,

These connectors will need to be tightened with a spanner, so make sure they're adequately tightened first. If that doesn't solve the problem then check the O-ring on the end of your hose and see if that is in tact, that might be causing the issue.

G'day Craig,

The POL-3/8" BSP LH Straight adapter will do the trick to use your Zempire stove with a 9kg bottle. You don't need a regulator or anything else other than the adapter.

Hi Fi, this adapter will enable you to connect whatever stove/appliance you have with a 3/8â€ fitting to a gas cylinder with a POL outlet. For reference, the only difference between the small (3/8) and big bottle (POL) is the fitting but the gas and pressure inside are exactly the same.
