Yep, absolutely. The two black dials control each particular outlet respectively, so you can have one completely shut off.

Might be pushing my luck but would it be possible to connect 2 of these adapters to each other to essentially create 3 connections. So 4.5kg gas bottle to companion stove, gasmate voyager bbq and joolca hot water system?

G'day Lou,

This isn't something we'd recommend, the more connections there are, the greater the chance there will be a leak somewhere in the system. The items you've listed all have POL connections too, so if you did want to take the risk you'd need the POL cylinder to dual POL outlet instead.

Will there be a drop in gas pressure?1 answer

Hi .. I want to use this connected directly to a gas bottle using a POL to 3/8 adapter. I then want to attach a Coleman cooker on one connection which has a regulator built in. On the other connection I want to use a 3/8"BSP to POL Gas Cylinder Adapter to connect to a hot water unit that uses a POL connector with a regulator built into the cable. I know that all these connections will work .. I am just worried about whether there will be a drop in gas pressure using this 2-way adapter?

Generally, weber hoses will have a POL fitting on them but you could use an adapter to connect it to this double adapter. It might be worth giving us a call and we can chat through the options over the phone.

Would this fitting screw onto a typical 9 kg gas bottle and allow us to connect to BOTH a typical high pressure gas stove, AND a regulated 3-way refrigerator? We'd like to have the fridge run all the time, and the stove, only when in use (and preferably be able to turn off the supply at the bottle when not in use).

This adapter is designed to attach directly to a 3/8" BSP bottle (usually 1-4kg size). You could use this in combination with a POL adapter depending on the attachment your fridge has. You'd need the POL to 3/8" BSP to attach this adapter to your 9kg bottle, and then possibly the 3/8" BSP to POL Gas cylinder Adapter to attached your fridge to the double adapter.

Can I pile this 2-way valve onto an adaptor to fit Gas'n'go cannisters?1 answer

I want to use my circa 1980 Companion stove along with a new 100 cm Gasmate pole connected to a lantern. I'm sick of the hassle of getting LPG refills and would prefer to pick up the pre-filled Gas'n'go cannisters from the petrol station. Could I screw this double 3/8" BSP adapter onto another adapter (for a POL cylinder). If yes, which shape adaptor would work? The straight one?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean when you say Gas'n'go but I'm guessing they're a 4 or 9kg cylinder with a POL fitting. You should be able to use the Double adapter in combination with a POL adapter to run both, however adding a lantern pole might be a little wobbly.

Can this be used to connect my 3 burner camp BBQ to the caravan gas bottle after the regulator. The line from the regulator is a copper line.The BBQ uses a higher pressure hose will it work off low pressure. Am I better off running an adaptor straight from the gas bottle.

G'day Chris,

Most of our camp stoves are high pressure and will not run through a low-pressure system. Your camp stove will only work off a separate LPG gas bottle with the hose supplied. So, unfortunately, no you can't run it off your caravan connection with adapters.

Hi, we're trying to find something that will connect both our Gasmate Voyager and portable stove to the one gas bottle without needing to change them over for each use. Would this adapter achieve this? Our stove has the same connector as the Voyager. Many thanks

The Gas Cylinder adapter 3/8"BSP LH to Double 3/8"BSP LH is designed for stoves/BBQs that have a 3./8"BSP LH fitting on them. The voyager BBQ has a hose with a POL fitting on the end, so you would likely need the POL cylinder to dual POL outlet to use both units. Hopefully this clears it up for you!
