Got an overnight trip coming up? Check. Got a couple of kids you need to bring along? Check. Don’t want to spend a fortune? Check. The Tasman 6V Dome Tent ticks all the boxes for an affordable family-friendly tent that will also fit into the back of your car.
The Tasman 6V Dome Tent is ideal to be used in warmer climates, due to its breathable polyester inner while the windows are covered with No-See-Um mesh which will allow fresh air to come through the tent. When nature calls, you won’t have to worry about stumbling over in the dark, as the doors on the Tasman are a user-friendly D shape. The cross-pole configuration makes the Tasman easier to set up and will help prevent water from pooling and the fly has been treated with a silver coating which will reflect the heat while also added an extra element of protection in adverse weather.
You can illuminate your tent at night by attaching an optional light to the lantern hook inside, and you can keep your valuables tucked away thanks to the handy internal organiser pockets. For a small family tent that’s simple, portable and easy to use – the OZtrail Tasman 6V is a great entry-level option.

G'day Kerry,
Oztrail use a fabric called UVTex, with is UV resistant, but it doesn't come with a particular UPF rating.
