Awning 1 answer
Are these poles suitable for a gazebo wall with an awning?
Jay - Melbourne, VIC(6 months ago)
G'day Jay,
Yeah, they should be! That's essentially what they're designed for so you shouldn't have any issues, especially if you've got an OZtrail.

Oztrail Gazebo 2 Zip Door Wall 3 Metre1 answer
Hi There, are these the best option for the Oztrail Gazebo 2 Zip Door Wall 3 Metre add-on (annex)? Or would you recommend something longer like the T-Nut Steel Tent Pole? Just want to make sure I have the right height. Cheers!
Michael - Doreen, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Michael,
Any awning poles will work, the wall itself is around 2m high, so if you want the awning to be level you'll need poles that can extend around the 2m mark. These ones are a fixed length, so I would recommend grabbing some that can be adjusted, as they will afford you a lot more versatility. There's options between steel, which is heavy but very strong, verses aluminium which is lighter and more protable. The spigot or spike at the end is fairly universal, in size so as long as the height range is good, you'll be fine. Check out our range of poles here.

Can this be used with the Coleman Northstar Darkroom 6p?1 answer
Hi, One of the poles for the vestibule area of me my Coleman Northstar darkroom 6p tent broke. Can I use this as a replacement?
Ed - Box Hill, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Ed,
Yes, you could replace your Coleman Northstar Darkroom Poles with the Oztrail Awning Pole Set. One thing to note is they are a fixed length, and at 180cm they are slightly longer than the ones supplied with the tent, so your awning will sit up a little higher at the front.

Oxley 5 Lite1 answer
Are these suitable to use in the centre of the awning on the Oxley 5 Lite to create a stepped awning for rain run off?
Paul - Perth(4 years ago)
These will work, Paul, but they are a fixed height of 180cm.
Usually the poles used here are longer than this to allow for a high peak and good slope for runoff. Something like these steel awning poles may be a better solution (https://www.snowys.com.au/big-foot-t-nut-steel-tent-poles), but they are al longer item to transport.

Ropes and pegs1 answer
We bought a Oztrail Family 10 Dome tent for which these poles were recommended as extras. Can you please tell me what ropes and pegs go with these, or if there is an alternative with everything in the one pack. Thanks!
Nerida - Maroubra (7 years ago)
G'day Nerida,
Any of the guy ropes on our website will do the job for you. As for the pegs. It really depends on what surface you are pegging into. For most grass or dirt surfaces, these Poles Apart Pegs will do the job. If you're on sand though, then I'd suggest getting some sand pegs.

Are these the awning poles to suit Deluxe 3M 2-Zip Door Wall?1 answer
I bought 2x Oz Trail Deluxe 3M 2-Zip Door Walls. Are these the awning poles I need?
Kristie - Ellenbrook(7 years ago)
G'day Kristie,
They are! The only downside is that these poles only extend to 180cm but that should still give you plenty of height. The upside is they are very light and compact compared to many other pole options.

Oztrail bungalow 9 compatable?? 1 answer
Hi just wondering if these are the correct height to use with the oztrail bungalow 9?
Tracey - Forster(7 years ago)
G'day Tracey,
The Oztrail Awning Poles are 180cm in height and the Oztrail Bungalow 9 has a maximum head height of 190cm. As the awning sits a little below the maximum height, these poles will work fine.

Will these poles fit in the Oztrail Canvas Dome Pole bag (Snowys Code 40501)? 1 answer
If so, approx. how many of these poles will fit in the bag?
Scott - Gordon, ACT(8 years ago)
I gave this a go for you Scott, and lengthways it's a snug fit to get the pole kit past the zipper, but perfectly do-able.
I fit eight of the Awning Pole Kits in the bag quite comfortable, and there was room for about two more, any more than this and it will start to get a little tight.

do these poles come with ropes & pegs or do we need to buy them separately?1 answer
We have a bedarra tent and need to get 2 sets of awnings poles to hold up the outside doors.
Rachel - Sydney(8 years ago)
G’day Rachel, the Oztrail Awning Pole Set comes with just the poles. It may be a better option to go for poles that are adjustable so that you can customise the height of your awnings on your Bedarra. We’d recommend the Poles Apart T/Nut 198cm pole (Snowys Code: 23052) as it's adjustable- which will give you more freedom with the length.
