I'm not sure what you mean sorry - Darche have 3 sizes of essentially the exact same firepit.  They all have a X leg base, and all fold flat.
The 630 firepit is the newest one, the only difference being that it is extra large in size compared to the 310 and 430 models.

Yep, absolutely.  A lot of councils in urban regions require charcoal only in your fire pits, so in my personal experience, it works quite well in fire pits. I'd say you wouldn't have any issues with that.

The base plate is powder-coated steel, so would benefit from a good rinse off after a beach side camping trip.

No, the Darche Firepits do not come with a hotplate attachment, but you can definitely rest a hotplate on the grill platform without too much trouble.

Generally we'd recommend sitting the firepit directly on the ground, but if you wanted to raise it up a little then you could pop it on top of an aluminium slat pac table, you might just end up with a little bit of residual heat transfer to the table.

It probably depends on the wood from your local servo, but I'd say it can handle around 5-6 logs. If you have a look at the reviews a number of owners have uploaded photos of their firepits in action, and most appear to have quite a bit of wood in theirs.

If you're wanting to use the Firepit just for a fire then you won't need to pop the grill/grate on top. The Stainless Steel Grill can be used if you're wanting to cook.

The Darche Stainless Steel BBQ 450 Firepit is designed for use as a small comfort fire or cooking fire.  If you stick within the intended use you shouldn't have any issues with distortion, bending or damage.

We don't have any stock to physically measure this for you at the moment, however based on the size of the 310 model I've got here I can confirm that the 45 x 45cm size is the size of the top of the pit.

What a great question! I've had a play around with our floor stock and tried both the 9 qt and 12 qt Camp Ovens which weigh 8.9kg and 15kg respectively.  It seemed to take the weight well and was very stable. I'd be fairly confident that if you added it full of lamb shanks you'd not only end up with a delicious meal but it could take the weight while it cooked!

The Darche 450 fire pit is essentially designed for use as a contained comfort fire or for cooking food. Whilst you could technically build a raging fire in it, its best to stick with the intended use.
