Can this stove be used with a gas bayonet hose? Wish to connect to the caravan ga a bayonet fitting.
James - Harrington, NSW(9 months ago)
G'day James,
No it can't, this stove is a high-pressure gas stove & requires an unregulated gas supply. If you want to get back to us with some of your stove requirements, we can take a look to see if there's a suitable option in our range for you.

Flame Failure Safety Valve1 answer
Does this or any other of your small portable gas stoves have Flame Failure Safety Valve
Annette - Franklin, ACT(11 months ago)
G'day Annette,
This stove does not have the Flame Failure Safety Device. We do have one stove called the Companion Proheat 2 Burner Low Pressure Stove which does have 2 burners with the Flame Safety Device (FSD), and this can also be connected via a bayonet fitting.

Carry bag1 answer
Could you suggest a good carry bag for this stove?
Donnie - Dunlop, ACT(1 year ago)
G'day Donnie,
At this stage we don't have a Dometic specific carry bag for this stove, but the Zempire Stove & Grill Bag is a great option.

Swap and go1 answer
Can I connect this to a swap and go gas bottle or do I need an adapter?
Leonardo - Flynn, ACT (1 year ago)
G'day Leonardo,
This stove connects to a 3/8th BSP gas bottle - the large swap-and-go style bottles are either the now superseded POL, or the new LCC27 fittings. Whilst there may be adapters made by other companies, Dometic has the following info in their product manual which you can check out as a PDF on our product page.
"Only use the hose assembly as supplied with this device for connection to the cylinder – DO NOT USE ADAPTERS."
3/8" Gas bottles are refillable, and come in a range of smaller sizes between 1.25-4kg, making them ideal for camping.
What is the cooking area size so I can buy a hot plate
Paul - Melbourne Airport, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Paul,
The Campfire 2 Burner Hot Plate is the best match for this stove. It will need to be packed seperately though, as the stove cant be packed up with a hot plate inside. Hope that helps!

Gas bottle lead1 answer
can we have a 3m lead instead of the 1.2m
Gypsy - Glass House Mountains, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Gypsy,
The Dometic CSG103 Stove only comes with a 1.2m hose supplied and no other hoses are currently available for this stove. May be best to contact Dometic directly for more info on longer gas hoses or suitable replacements.

POL fitting with regulator ?1 answer
can this unit be hooked up to a standard gas bottle with regulator and POL fitting ? am wanting to use existing POL gas bottles so not having to carry another gas bottle just to run this unit because of the different fittings. If this unit will work on standard POL gas bottles (4.5 and 9 kg bottles) what fittings are required to make this work on a 4.5, 9kg bottles with regulator
Andrew - Iluka, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Andrew,
With the supplied hose you can only connect to the smaller gas bottles with a 3/8" LH BSP fitting. Dometic recommends only using the hose assembly as supplied with this device for connection to the cylinder with a 3/8“ LH BSP fitting. Usually, you might be able to use a POL to 3/8" BSP Straight Gas Cylinder Adapter, although Dometic states DO NOT use adaptors.
Nope, this stove runs off LPG vias the provided regulated 3/8th BSP hose. If you're looking for a smaller fuel option, you can get refillable LPG cylinders from as small as 1.25kg. Its more efficient, refillable meaning no single-use canisters going into rubbish, and cheaper in the long run.

Dometic Portable Gas Stove Grill 1 answer
Dose the Dometic Portable Gas Stove with Grill have a top flat plate available to purchase or a suggested size for that model?
