Certified gas cylinder compartment1 answer
Is this a certified gas cylinder compartment i.e. can we transport it in the car (when filled with gas) as we are car campers and can't attach it to the outside, no roof racks I'm afraid. Obviously we would keep it upright and secure so that it doesn't roll around but then is it okay in the car. Thanks

G'day Sandra,
No, this is just the cylinder itself. A certified gas cylinder compartment is a separate box or compartment that you put a gas cylinder in - we dont sell these. The other issue with carrying gas inside the vehicle is gas leaks, which can cause death in an enclosed space. The best option is to store the gas bottle upright in the boot, and performing a leak test. If you are in a wagon or vehicle where the boot is not separate from the driver/passenger space, we'd encourage have windows cracked or active ventilation.

Gas refill1 answer
I see lots of swap and go options for bigger cylinders but less options to refill a smaller bottle now in the suburbs. Do I just need to look harder for refill options?
