Hey team, Just wondering if this is more suitable for a fella of 5'7 than the king goanna? also will the drink holder take a beer with stubby cooler? Cheers

G'day CJ,
Yes, the Goanna is a good option if you're slightly shorter, the main difference between the Goanna and King Goanna is the head rest, so if you'd prefer a head rest the King Goanna version might be a better option. Dave who stars in our video is around that height so it's worth having a look at that for some ideas of size. The drink holder is 8cm across, so should fit most beers in a stubby holder (obviously depending on the beer and the stubby holder).

I’m 5’7 and based on the other answer and video I bought one and my feet don’t touch the ground. I find the front very high like with most quad fold chairs but this would be one of the worst. We’ve got a bunch we bought years ago and never had this issue even when new.

From the video with Dave who's around 5'7", we can see he fits in the chair quite well - around the 1:15min mark. This really only gives a rough indication though, and unfortunately doesn't cover a range of different body proportions, eg. longer & shorter legs. Its a good point to raise and a good consideration to make. Appreciate your feedback Travo, will potentially be helpful for others.

How big is the stubby holder pocket?1 answer
I use the Brumate Uncork'd insulated cup when out camping and it fits literally no cup holder on any chair i've tried... this one looks bigger so I am hopeful.. The cup is 9cm wide.

G'day Kirsty,
I've just double-checked for you and unfortunately, the internal diameter of the cup holder is 8cm, so I don't think you'll have any luck fitting your insulated cup.
