Seat Height? 1 answer
In the specifications I saw 38/43H cm, does it mean it is adjustable? what would be the real height of the seat? Thank you!
Gary - Pennant Hills, NSW(4 years ago)
G'day Gary,
The seat isn't adjustable height, but it is a little bit of a bucket shape. At the front of the seat where the fabric attaches to the frame it is 43cm, in the centre of the seat bucket it is 38cm. Hopefully that helps.

Comparison to Gecko1 answer
I'm 6ft tall, and struggle a little with chairs due to my height. Is the King Goanna, more comfortable than the Gekco chair to sit in? I'd be intrigued to see what your Ben that does the videos thinks being 6'1" tall.
Chris - Varsity Lakes, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Chris,
I've just had a chat with Ben and he said he'd recommend the King Goanna chair for users around 6 foot. He said that it's a more comfortable chair, and packs smaller, so is much easier to transport than the Gecko chair. Hopefully that helps!

Is the Hotspot pouch compatible with this chair?1 answer
The hotspot is not compatible with this chair. Is that correct?
Jodi - Woombye (6 years ago)
G'day Jodi,
That's correct, yes. The Oztent King Goanna Chair doesn't have the pouch for the Hotspot to slide into but the specific Hotspot chair does.

Does this chair have the abilty to use replacement parts?1 answer
The Jet tent Pilot chair has replacement parts for the frame, is this the same for this chair? Thank you.
Emily - Rural(7 years ago)
G'day Emily,
The Oztent King Goanna Chair has a frame that's virtually all one piece thanks to the rivets holding the different parts together. Whilst this is great for strength, it does make it hard to replace individual sections of the frame. The Oztent King Goanna Chair does come with a 5-year warranty, however, if that soothes some of your fears. So if you ever think there's an issue with the chair, simply flick us through some photos to service@snowys.com.au and we can take it up with Oztent on your behalf.

Bag1 answer
Hi team,
Does the included storage bag the same type pictured for the "Oztent Goanna Chair" ?
Cheers,
Ray
Ray - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Ray!
The bag for the Oztent King Goanna chair is the same as the bag shown for the Oztent Goanna Chair. The only difference is that it's a little bigger to incorporate the bigger sized chair.

are these chairs rated to 150 or 200 kgs1 answer
are these chairs rated to 150 or 200 kgs
matt - waikiki(8 years ago)
G'day Matt,Â
I've just had a chat with Oztent and they have told me that the older King Goanna model had a weight rating of 150kg, whereas the new model (which is what we stock) has a rating of 200kg, which is why our specs differ from theirs online. I hope that clears everything up, sorry about the confusion there Matt.Â

Drink Holders1 answer
Hi, can the drink holders easily fit a can with a stubby holder on it?
Stuart - Kahibah(8 years ago)
G'day Stuart,Â
I've just tried this for myself in store, and while we didn't have a stubby holder on hand I found that the Oztent King Goanna Chair will fit a can with room to spare - so you won't have any trouble fitting a can + stubby holder.Â

Head rest question1 answer
Hi, Could you please let me know if the head rest has padding without putting the carry bag in it? Thanks
Darlene , Vic
Darlene - TRARALGON, VIC(8 years ago)
Hi Darlene, the King Goanna chair does indeed have padding without the carry bag - there’s a layer of foam approx. 1cm thick sewn into the back of the headrest.

Another size question1 answer
Hi. Could you please measure the exact size when packed it its bag? Thanks
Bob - MELBOURNE, VIC(9 years ago)
I can't give you a measurement down to the cm exactly sorry Bob, it can be squashed down a little more but springs back, so it really depends on how much you want to wrestle it into the storage space. The packed dimensions (100 x 20 x 18 cm) on our website are the dimensions of the carry bag it fits comfortably into, so I would use these as the best guide.

More info on height1 answer
Hi,
Is the 105cm height to the top of the headrest, or is it to the top of the metal frame either side of the back of the chair? I have limited packing space.
If it is to the top of the headrest, would you please measure to the top of the frame for me when the chair is folded down?
Thanks.
Bob - , (9 years ago)
No problems Bob. Height to the top of the frame when folded is 95 cm give or take a cm and the headrest can be squashed down into this packed length.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)

Lesley - RESERVOIR, VIC(9 years ago)
