If a heavy pot is placed on a plate surely that could bring the whole thing over.

Just wanting to know if that is a thick plate or not .

What is the diameter of the centre pole?

Are you able to cook meat and the rest straight of the enamel surface ? Or is it more designed to be used with pans etc ?

Hello, I am curious by what means is the bottom plate adjustable, does it have a collar that the tube of the BBQ plate sits on enabling it to swivel or does the pipe of the BBQ plate have a wing nut/bolt to stop it sliding down the verticle pipe. Regards, Troy.
