It's powder coated Dionisia rather than painted. I updated our site to better explain the dimensions of the product. The cooking surface is 55 x 42 cm, whilst the total outer dimensions (i.e. from leg to leg and including handles in the width) are 78 x 47 x 23 cm. I have also included the packed size of 47 x 37 x 19 cm. Hopefully this helps.

This is a great idea just want to know before I buy it, that its folding mechanism is strong enough? Worried it might sag in the middle after some use? Cheers

Hi Mark, this is pretty well made, I put some weight in the middle of our display model (far more than than a few chops and a party pack of snags weigh) and it does not sag in the middle at all. It's made of cold rolled steel, and they have not taken any shortcuts on the hinged section.
