Why is the 60 lighter than the 53 ltr
G'day Ash,
The 53 litre is a DZ or Dual Zone. It has additional componentry to allow you to individually control 2 separate compartments, as well as the physical divider in the fridge, and additional baskets.
The 60 litre is a standard single zone fridge.
Size aside how would you compare the my coolman 60l to an equivalent Waeco eg: CFX2 55L?
G'day Mick,
At this point in time it's tricky to say. The MyCoolman fridges are still fairly new, and haven't been around long term to really give them solid testing. So far the reviews have been really positive, and they seem to be a great unit. The Dometic fridges have been around for a long time, so we know they're a reliable unit. The CFX3 model is the first model they've used their own new compressor, and so far the reviews are really good. Overall we're confident to recommend either option, with the MyCoolman is a tad larger, and slightly heavier, with the Dometic being a tad smaller, and slightly lighter.
Does the mycoolman 60/69 litre fridge freezer have a battery level check on it?
G'day Michael,
No, the CPP60 does not have a battery level indicator. You can find more information about the LED display on page 4 of the User Manual, which is listed as a PDF on the product page.
Whilst its not a battery level indicator, the information on page 10 advises of the warning you'll receive when the low voltage cut out setting has been reached.
Hope that helps.
Is there any where I can down load a copy of a trouble shouting Manuel
G'day Paul,
You can download the manual at the bottom of our details & specifications section, directly above the reviews. Just clink the link and it should download the pdf. Hopefully, you manage to get it sorted out.
Hi snowys Are you able to test fit one of your display fridges instore for fitment before purchase Thanks
G'day Blake,
If you give us a buzz then we should be able to pop you through to the manager on duty who will be able to confirm the details. We don't currently have stock in the Keswick store, but we might be able to arrange to get one brought over to the store for you from our warehouse.
