Can you leave the the plugs for both 240v and 12v in the fridge at the same time? So when shore power is available it charges from that but if not it draws from the 12v battery. (without having to mess with plugging/unplugging cords)

G'day Kim,
Yep, absolutely. We've been advised that the fridges will always prioritise 240v power which it's available, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Running time 1 answer
How long could this fridge safely run off a 110 amp hour battery in a battery box before the battery needs charging.
Peter - Yarram, VIC(4 years ago)
G'day Peter,
There are a lot of factors that will play into this, so it's difficult to give an exact answer. I'll do my best to give you a bit of a "back of the napkin calculation". If your battery is lead-acid then you can use about 50% of the battery capacity before you need to recharge it. Based on the average consumption of the unit, you'd get around 25-50 hours of use depending on the fridge settings, contents, and environment. If your battery is Lithium-Ion, then you can usually use about 80% of the battery capacity before you need to recharge it, so you'd be looking at around 45-80 hours of use.

Can this operate on a 12v cigarette socket whilst driving>? and does this come with1 answer
thanks

G'day Stephen,
This fridge is able to operate whilst plugged into your 12v cigarette plug when driving. It might be worth checking with an auto electrician if your wiring is up to standard to be able to run the fridge efficiently.
