Which jet boil to choose?1 answer
Hello, we have a camper trailer, so only really using this for side of the road cups of tea/ soup. I am wondering which would be the best one to buy? Many thanks
Nat - Thornbury, VIC(3 weeks ago)
G'day Nat,
If you're mainly needing a side-of-the-road quick boil option, then the Jetboil Zip or Flash will do the trick. It is worth noting that the boiled water capacity is half that of the cup itself - so the Zip is 400ml, Flash 500ml. If there are two of you, then I'd say go with the Flash model!

Storage of gas cycliner1 answer
Can you store a 100g gas cylinder in the flask, along with rest of the components (as you can with the Flash model, I notice this flask is a little shorter than the Flash model)?
Wesley - Perth, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Wesley,
Yes, the 100g canister will fit in the Zip flask with the burner and stabiliser. Hope that helps!

Boil capacity1 answer
Can you tell me how much liquid you can boil at a time?
Megan - Yeppoon(5 years ago)
G'day Megan, the boil capacity is around 200 to 300ml less than the size of the cup so about 500ml for this one.

G'day Susan,
You can certainly use the Jetboil Zip as it is with no separate windshield.

Gas Bottles1 answer
Hi How long does the gas bottle last on one of these and which ones are they (So I can see if I can get them locally)
Nikki - Kilsyth(7 years ago)
G'day Nikki,
Jetboil suggest that under ideal conitions you'll get 12 Liters boiled per 100g Jetpower canister, but in real conditions that might be a bit less. The canisters should be available in most good camping stores. If you click here the official Jetboil website can help you find your local retailer.

Included in the package1 answer
Hi team,
Does the steel pot support come with this model?
I've watched a few reviews and some have it and some don't.
Cheers,
Ray
Ray - 3000(7 years ago)
G'day Ray,
Unfortunately, you'll need to buy the pot support separately which is available here.

Just wondering if the jet boil comes with a canister of fuel? If not how much are they? Can I buy one through you?1 answer
Was looking at purchasing the jetboil
Wendy - Warragul (8 years ago)
G'day Wendy,
Gas is always sold independently but unfortunately, because it is classified as a dangerous good we cannot ship gas. The Jetboil canisters can be bought from most camping stores and you can also use any universal screw threaded canister, it just might not fit into the pot.
