Does the TMDZ 70 compressor run by a thermostat or timer ?
G'day Wilson,
The TMDZs have a Danfoss compressor which is run by a Thermostat.
Hi there, Can this fridge have one of the zones (compartments) turned off if not needed? By the end of a trip, you may not have enough food/drink to justify running two sections. If it can’t be turned off, any tips on conserving power?
G'day Scott,
We've had a chat to the team from Evakool and you're not able to switch off just one side of the TMDZ Dual Zone Fridge/Freezers. In general, you can conserve power bu reducing how often you open the unit, keeping it in a cover, and keeping it in the shade as much as you can.
70L fridge that holds 62L? Others Fridges say 65L fridge, capacity 65L?
G'day Wade,
Good question, Evakool along with a lot of other companies use model numbers that don't always line up with size. In the Travelmate Range the TMDZ-50, 60, and 70 are all different capacities that their model number.
