Overall collapsed length Inc spigot1 answer
Hi, I would like to know the overall length of the pole when collapsed, including the spigot so I can determine if it will fit inside my swag bag, which is about 90cm long. Thanks!
Andy - Perth, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Andy,
We've tried these out in a Darche 900 swag bag for you, and they're a touch too long / create pressure on the canvas. Your best bet if you are wanting awning poles for your swag, is to grab the Swag Awning Pole Set - they 75cm and designed to fit in any single swag bag.

Awning leg replacement1 answer
Can they replace a leg of a ridge Ryder 2x2.5metre awning?
Boyd - Islington(5 years ago)
G'day Boyd,
You could probably use a Darche Telescopic Alloy Pole to replace one of tour Ride Ryder awning poles, you'd just have to find a way to secure it to the awning, at these poles have a spigot on the top which is designed to slot through an eyelet.

Oztent RV 1 answer
The top of my pole broke off, and read some bad reviews for the Oztent poles that are sold separately to the tents... just wondering if the Darche pole fits into the eyelets of the RV5?
Nick - Oatley, NSW(5 years ago)
G'day Nick,
Yep, you won't have a problem at all with the Darche Telescopic Alloy Pole spigot fitting in with the RV5 eyelets.

Flex1 answer
Any idea how flexible these are? I presume they flex less when retracted?
Rob - Melbourne, VIC(6 years ago)
G'day Rob,
I've just had a look at there isn't any visible flex in the Telescopic Alloy Pole when retracted. When they fully extended there is a very small degree of flex.
