On a cold wintry day, warm yourself up with a delicious casserole, stew or soup made in the sturdy and versatile Casserole Pot from Pyrolux.
Constructed from pre-seasoned hard-wearing cast iron, this pot will still be in good nick even after years of use thanks to the durability of cast iron. The handles on each side make it easy to grab, and the lid ensures you can trap heat to simmer your meal.
The Pyrolux Casserole Pot can be used on all cooktops including induction as well as open fires so it’ll serve you well whether you’re at home or at the campsite.

Using for baking sourdough
G'day Janet,
Yes, a quick wash with warm water, and a thorough dry before it's maiden voyage and you'll be set to go! We'd love to see how the sourdough turns out when you make it :)
is Pyrolux Pyrocast the same as cast iron
G'day David,
Yes, Pyrolux Purocast is made from heavy-duty cast iron. The finish is a little less rustic than our Campfire and Charmate range, with Pyrocast generally being more suited to home use, with some camping trips.
I want to be able to use it in my gas oven as well as on the stove top Cheers
G'day Leonie,
You sure can, the Pyrocast Pots can be used on the stove top, and in the oven.
A lot of the cast iron pots have said up to 220 degrees c ?
G'day Fiona,
I've just had a look at the box and the only thing they list is that they are suitable for use on all cooktops and open fires, there isn't a listed maximum temperature, but we can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be able to withstand 250 degrees.
Does this Come in white. 6l
It doesn't sorry, Vibien, it is made from cast iron and doesn't have any coatings.
