Yes, a quick wash with warm water, and a thorough dry before it's maiden voyage and you'll be set to go! We'd love to see how the sourdough turns out when you make it :)

Yes, Pyrolux Purocast is made from heavy-duty cast iron. The finish is a little less rustic than our Campfire and Charmate range, with Pyrocast generally being more suited to home use, with some camping trips.

What Is hottest heat it withstands? 250 degree oven?1 answer

A lot of the cast iron pots have said up to 220 degrees c ?

I've just had a look at the box and the only thing they list is that they are suitable for use on all cooktops and open fires, there isn't a listed maximum temperature, but we can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be able to withstand 250 degrees.
