Hi are you able to give any guidance as to what size camp site I'd need for this tent. I can see the physical length and width, but not sure how much extra space the front storm straps and guy ropes etc would add. Thank you!
Aaron - Melbourne, VIC(3 months ago)
G'day Aaron,
I'd say at best you'd pitch the guy ropes 1m out from the tent, at most you'd say 2m out. So you'd add anywhere bewteen 2-4m more to the external dimensions of the tent, meaning you'd need a maximum site size of 10 x 8m for the tent. Dont forget to add additional space if you need to park you car onsite, or to account for any additional shelters or gazebos.

Ventilation1 answer
Comparing the Pro TL V2 and the Evo TL V2, does the Pro have more ventilation in the sleeping pod? It looks like that from the walkthrough videos. Looks like the Pro has the top half of the rear wall in mesh, while the Evo only has a small vent at the top. if so, can this be closed off in the Pro if cold? Want to confirm this before buying as these are important details and these tents are not on display in store. Thanks!
RM - Adelaide, SA(8 months ago)
G'day RM,
Both tents have a rear mesh panel in the bedroom food for ventilation, which is crucial for the management of condensation. The ventilation panels are on the rear bedroom wall, which is sloped, so may appear to be on the roof. They can't be closed up, but realistically won't effect temperatures inside the tent.

Difference between this and Zempire Pro II V2 Air Tent1 answer
Hi there, what are the core differences between this and the Zempire Pro II V2 Air Tent? Also, is there a flysheet at the very front of the tent or is it an open-air area? Thank you!
Kevin - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Kevin,
Both tents are from the same Pro series, so they're made from the same materials, have the same waterhead rating, air poles, flooring, etc. Realistically, the only difference is the shape & size of the tent. The Pro II V2 tent is a huge family cabin style tent designed for 6 people plus living area. The downside is that its quite heavy, weighing almost 50Kg. The Pro TL is a smaller family tent, ideally designed for 4 people with living space. Both tents have the same open awning area at the front providing a sheltered outdoor space, and removing the need for a gazebo. You can grab an awning wall that fills this space in, as an optional accessory. You can find these in the You Might Also Like section on both tent pages.
