The Companion Power Cooker and Stockpot Set is designed to make cooking your freshly caught seafood a no-brainer.
This set features a cast iron burner with adjustable gas control, mounted on a powder-coated steel frame. It also comes with an aluminium stockpot and basket, so you’ll have everything you need to cook up a storm. Assembly is super easy, all you have to do is connect it to an LCC27 LP gas cylinder, and you’re ready to rustle up your catch of the day. Cooking seafood can be a bit risky for those of us who are used to charring snags on the barbeque, which is why Companion have thrown in a thermometer - so you won’t end up with a meal of rubbery prawns when you’re trying to show everyone your excellent cooking skills.
Perfect for prepping meals for large groups down at the beach, on the campsite – or even in your own backyard, the Companion Power Cooker and Stockpot set is going to be your new best friend for cooking in the great outdoors.

Information on the box says that it must be connected to a POL cylinder. Would it not be safe to connect to a 4kg bottle that only has a 3/8 connection with the correct 3/8 to POL adaptor?
Alex - Canberra, ACT(4 years ago)
G'day Alex,
There will be no problem connecting this to a 4kg bottle with 3/8" fitting, you'll just need a 3/8" BSP to POL adapter.

Gas Hose1 answer
Can you get a hose that has baonette fitting to plug straight into Caravan.
Barry - Grass Valley(4 years ago)
G'day Barry,
Thanks so much for your question. Unfortunately, the Companion Mega-Jet Outdoor Power Cooker is not compatible with a Bayonet Caravan gas system. It requires the provided specialised High-Pressure regulator to operate, and this cannot be bypassed. The regulation on your caravan system is low pressure, and not compatible with this cooker.

Is the output of this Power Cooker 104000 BTU?1 answer
In the Q&A’s for Companion Mega-Jet Outdoor Power Cooker, you said its output is 104000 BTU even though ‘Details & Specs’ list it as 85300 BTU.
Sherman - Rossmoyne, WA(4 years ago)
G'day Sherman,
The burner on the Power Cooker & Stockpot Set is 85300BTU. The output on the Mega-Jet Outdoor Power Cooker has recently changed, so the correct specification is listed in the 'Details & Specs' section.

Previous pot has perished and has pin holes which spirt over gas flames
Alanah - Mermaid Waters (5 years ago)
G'day Alanah,
There are two sizes of Stockpot & Basket that are available without the addition of the cooker, you can find them here.

Burner 1 answer
Can I disassemble the set so that I can use just the burner without the pots?
Hayden - Mackay (6 years ago)
G'day Hayden,
Yeah mate, the pots just sit on top as they would on any other stove so you can take them off and use the burner with any cookware you like.

Can I get this with a 40L pot?1 answer
Hello, is possible to have the Power cooker with 40L pot instead the 20L pot?
Alessandro - Annandale(6 years ago)
G'day Alessandro,
Unfortunately, the Companion Power Cooker & Stockpot Set only comes with a 20L pot. It will work if you wanted to use a 40L pot with it, but you'd need to grab that separately.
