Are the disposable bags biodegradable??1 answer
Are the kookaburra bags biodegradable and Can they be disposed of in a bush dunny??
Kelly - Tas(6 years ago)
G'day Kelly,
Thanks for getting in touch, I've had a look at the packaging and the bags supplied and there's no clear indication whether they are biodegradable or not. I can confirm that the Elemental Bag Liners are bio-degradable though.

Where do you dispose the used bags?1 answer
An honest question... where does one dispose the bags once used? Do you place chemicals/tablets as you use them?
Fran - Grafton(8 years ago)
G’day Fran,
The Kookaburra Portable Toilet is different to the other types of portable toilets that store waste inside the unit, such as the Portapotti or Dometic range - these types use chemicals and tabs to break down waste, keep smells at bay, and prevent gas build up.
Each time you use the Kookaburra toilet, you use a different bag that you then dispose of at a waste dumping point, so you won’t actually need to use chemicals with it.

Is there a weight limit or rating on this item?1 answer
Need to know if a weight limit would make this useful for my family.
Mike - Nowra(8 years ago)
G'day Mike,Â
The Kookaburra Portable Toilet has a weight limit of 70 Kg so it is going to be a good one for kids, but I'd say for taller adults this model may not be the best option.Â

What dimensions is the seat1 answer
33 X 46 size seat - are they the right dimensions
31cm height
Bev - Narrabeen(9 years ago)
Hi Bev,
Something seems to have gone astray in our dimensions and I'm glad you picked it up!
I've measured this one myself and the correct dimensions are 51cm high, while the seat is 34cm wide and 32cm deep.
Thanks for picking that one up, I'll be changing those dimensions today!
