Hi Snowys Will the oven run on LPG and does it connect direct to the regular type of LPG cylinder or does it need and adapter and/or regulator ?
Geoff - Penshurst, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Geoff,
Yes, this runs on LPG and connects to a regular swap-and-go style gas bottle, or classic BBQ style gas bottle. The POL connector hose it comes with connects to both the POL bottles and the upgraded LCC27 connection gas bottles which may already be in the Swap and Go mix, so you should have need of an adapter. Hope that helps!

Simmer control and weather resistance 1 answer
Do the burners adjust down to a simmer? I have found a good range of adjustability to be a lacking feature in many camp stoves. Also, how durable and rust proof are the burners and stove overall? With outdoor use equipment tends to get rain blow in on it once in a while. I've been though a few stoves over the years and I'm looking for something that won't get ruined by getting a little wet now and then.
El - Caloundra, QLD (1 year ago)
G'day El,
This stove will generally simmer as well as a camp stove can. Because they are designed for outdoor use and have the elements like cold, wind, etc to contend with they tend to have a higher output all round to offset that. In terms of durability, this is 100% down to how well you care for and maintain your camping gear. Our stove we've had for 16 years and it's still going strong, for eg. Just a basic one, nothing fancy, and it very common to hear of people using the same stove for 10 years. Set your kitchen and stove up out of the direct weather wherever possible. Shutting your stove overnight if you are expecting frost and dew can help, and if you do happen to get your stove wet have a rag or paper towel on hand to dry it off. Make sure you are always packing your stove away clean and dry.

It would be nice to see the volume of the oven, seeing as how you don't have this "in store" to inspect?
Ross - New Farm, QLD(1 year ago)
We've got the internal dimensions listed, Ross, which are 40L x 27D x 21H cm. This equates to about 22 litres.
