Basically, a huge dry bag, the Sea to Summit Pack Liner provides reliable protection on the trail against torrential rain and river crossings.
The oval base shape fits neatly inside your rucksack, and a roll-top Hypalon® closure keeps the moisture out. Made from durable and waterproof seam-sealed fabric with a bright white inner lining that makes it easy to rummage around in your bag.
Sea To Summit Pack Liners are a simple and long-lasting option for keeping your gear dry.
whats the difference between the pack liner and the dry bag? are both waterproof?
bea - ashgrove(5 years ago)
G'day Bea,
The biggest difference is that the Pack Liners are larger in size and do not come with the carry straps. They are designed to be inserted inside of your pack to ensure the contents stays dry. The Dry Bags are smaller in capacity - 10L and 20L and are designed for (but not limited to) keeping essentials dry while slung over your shoulder on your day trip adventure. The waterproofing and closure of both are the same. Hope that helps :)

What size is best for a 65L pack? medium or large?
bea - ashgrove(5 years ago)
G'day Bea,
Thanks for your enquiry. The best pack liner for your 65L pack would be the medium size as its capacity is up to 70L.

Pack liner differences?1 answer
Hi - seen your S2S pack liner, and a different S2S pack liner (ultrasil) advertised elsewhere. both claim to be waterproof but there's a big weight difference. Looking at 50L (small) in both. Yours is 232g, the ultrasil one is only 74g. What's the difference please? Ta!
Lou - Perth(5 years ago)
G'day Lou,
The Sea to Summit Pack Liner we have is made from a 70 denier polyurethane coated nylon material, whereas the Ultra-sil version is made from a 30 denier Ultra-sil (an ultralight siliconised Cordura) fabric. Apart from this the base line shape and size are the same across the models.

Will goes work as a dry bag for the top of my kayak?1 answer
Hi, I've bought an exped megamat in the wider size, almost 80cm I think. I need a dry bag for it, so I can strap it to the top of my sea kayak. Will one of these work? Which size? Thank you
Louise - Wagga Wagga(6 years ago)
G'day Louise,
The Sea to Summit Pack Liner can work as a stand-alone dry bag, however we do sell the Sea to Summit Big River Dry Sack in the 65L might be a more durable and easier to attach option.

Which liner? 1 answer
Hi,
I have a Kathmandu Entrada 65L Women's Pack. Which liner would you recommend?
Thanks
Steph - Aberfeldie (7 years ago)
G'day Steph,
I'd recommend you go for the Medium Sea to Summit Pack Liner for your 65L bag. The Medium Liner has a 70L capacity, so will fit nicely in your bag.

2 liners?1 answer
Would it be suitable to get 2 x 50l pack liners for my 70l pack? That way I can separate my gear from my consumables.
Amanda - Holt(7 years ago)
G'day Amanda,
It would be absolutely possible. Many people use multiple dry bags throughout their pack to separate their gear (I use about 7 different dry sacks). The great thing about them is you just roll the top down as far as needed.

I have a 55 L backpack. Which size is best fit for it?1 answer
What sizes are recommended for different size bags?
Josh - Sydney(8 years ago)
G'day Josh,
I'd recommend going with the medium sized Sea to Summit Pack Liner which can hold up to 70L. You can then roll the top down as required. The small sized liner is only 50L meaning you'll loose potential space in your pack.
