Hiya, just wondering if the drawstring is a stretchy or non-stretch cord. Can I set and forget (elastic) and then quickly put it on or do I need to loosen and tighten the drawcord each time (rigid)?
G'day Diz,
The adjustable drawcord is a solid fixed cord so you'll need to loosen and tighten each time you remove and reset the cover.
What size is the the XS in cm L x W X D Thanks
G'day Rob,
The extra small will fit a backpack measuring 15 to 30litres. When stretched out on a 30l backpack it measures approx 52h x 30w x 22d.
Hi. I have a Gregory Deva 70L pack. I was wondering whether you know if the medium or the large would be the best fit for this type of backpack? Also, I was wondering if the Ultra-sil seatosummit pack cover is just as effective as the normal seatosummit cover? Or does it lose some waterproof quality because it is a ultralight weight? Wanting it for the Overland track. Thanks!
G'day Saskia,
Unfortunately, we're not overly familiar with the Gregory Deva 70 so it's hard to say exactly which pack cover will be best. I've had a quick look at this pack online and they're listed as having a rain cover, which I would assume will be similar to the Sea to Summit pack covers. I would personally steer toward the standard cover as they tend to be a little more durable over time.
Hi there - I have a 70L One Planet Styx. It's quite wide at the base. Would a Size M work, or should I stick with a Size L? Thanks for your help.
G'day Tam,
Thanks for your enquiry. I have had a chat with a few experts regarding your question as there are a couple of variables to consider. As we don't stock the One Planet brand, I was unable to physically try each size of the Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Pack Covers but I've spoken with a rep at One Planet who was able to provide the dimensions of the 70L pack and after discussing the question with our travel experts in store, we think it's best to purchase the Large size to be safe. The pack covers come with drawstrings so you'll be able to tighten the cover if you find it's sagging a bit but we feel if your pack is close to full plus items in the front pouch of the pack, you're best to go with the large. I hope this helps.
Is there an attachment to hook the Stuff Sack to the Molle system?
G'day Lloyd,
On the Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Pack Covers, there are no attachments that you can use to hook the stuff sack to your Molle system. The only thing you might be able to try and use is the drawstring but I'm not sure it would work all that well for you.
Need one for my bike backpack and I want it to be brightly coloured for obvious reasons!
G'day Dale,
When buying a Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Pack Cover, you can choose whichever colour you'd like after selecting the size. That way you can guarantee you'll get the colour you want.
I need for the Kokoda track and just making sure it is water tight
G'day Michelle,
The Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Pack Cover is a waterproof cover that will protect your bag against the rain. It doesn't, however, provide a watertight seal around the bag.
