Would you stand on it?1 answer
I am looking for something to stand on so I can pack my Oztent RX-5 onto my SUV roof rack. Would this be sturdy/stable enough to stand on, or is there something more suitable? I like that it folds down so small, I wish to pack minimally. Plus it would have many uses while on camp. 🤔 Thanks!
Niall - Camberwell, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Niall,
These stools have a static weight limit of 150kg, so if you're under that and stepping up on it staying mostly still, it should take the weight - my main consideration would be stability - I'm not sure it'd be super safe in that respect and would easily tip.
There's not a huge amount of steps around that are super compact and give you a fair bit of height - potentially consider something like a 'door step'. We don't stock them at present but you should be able to track something down with Google.

How does this compare with the Original Sabre Stool?1 answer
How does this compare with the Original Sabre Stool? Is one better made or more easy to use or more long-lasting than the other? Which is better quality? Which is better overall?
Robyn - Kingswood, SA (1 year ago)
G'day Robyn,
I have never heard of the Saber stool sorry, so don't have anything really to add here. The only advice i can give is to perhaps had a read through the 4/5 star reviews we've had on this product to hear real-life feedback, and to let you know we've never had one returned. Everyone who grabs one of these stools seems to be happy!

Material1 answer
This looks like a great design. My one concern is the amount of plastic used in the product and the environmental impact. Can the plastic used in this product be recycled?
John - Latham, ACT(3 years ago)
G'day John,
I've confirmed with Outdoor Connection that the Multipurpose Compact Stool is made from Nylon and hard Polypropylene. As to its recyclability, there's no clear answer either way sorry, but a quick Google search indicates that Nylon plastics are not readily able to be recycled. Hope that helps somewhat!

In the video its says up to 250kgs, but the information sheet says 150kgs Which is it? I may have to go on a diet Ha! Ha!
Robert - Jimboomba, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Robert,
Thanks for reaching out, we've double-checked this, it's 150kg, which is what Ben says in the video, the captions are just incorrect. I've asked our video tech team to get this rectified ASAP.
