12v to usb adapter 1 answer
I would like to use this from a power bank that requires a adapter. This adaptor from Jaycar is rated at 8w. Is that sufficient for this purpose. I don't know how to compare the mAh draw figure to watts drawn. Hope that makes sense!
Matilda - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Matilda,
We haven't tried this combo so couldn't say for sure. Going off the max ampere per hour usage for this fan we'll round it up to 1.1 Ah/ 1100 mAh. The adaptor looks like it doesn't support the max mAh required for this fan so I wouldn't say this will work properly. You may be better off with a power bank or similar that has a 12V cig-plug you can plug the fan directly into.

Battery 1 answer
Is there a battery pack you can buy to use when camping in a tent
Stephen - Richmond, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Stephen,
The Companion Rover Lithium 40Ah Power Station is a great all-rounder battery pack and includes 1 x 12V DC input to plug in the Breezeaway Fan. On a full charge, this will power the fan and other devices for a day or two before needing to be topped up.

Mounting options1 answer
What are the mounting options with this fan?
Kelvin - Traralgon South, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day Kelvin,
Both of the plastic feet on the Breezeway fan have 2 x screw points to allow this to be mounted to any surface. Hope that helps!

Outdoor Connection vs Coleman Rechargeable 12â€1 answer
Hi, I’m just wondering about the airflow between this fan and the Coleman Rechargeable 12” fan. Which one pushes more air?
Annie - Perth, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Annie,
The Breezeway is the more powerful of the two options, with larger blades, and having the option to mount it is an added bonus. The downside is that is 12v cable powered only, and doest run off a rechargeable battery like the lithium option. If you need something portable that can run without power, go for the Coleman. If you have access to 12v power, go the Outdoor Connection. Hope that helps!

run time?1 answer
how much run time would i get roughly with 20,000mah 18v powerbank?
Joshua - VICTORIA POINT 4165(4 years ago)
G'day Joshua,
Based purely on some rudimentary calculations you should get at least 19 hours, but up to 80-100 hours from this battery based on the power consumption on the specified power consumptions levels for each of the fans settings.

12 volt is 12volt?1 answer
Hi, I live in Florida USA and am wondering if 12 volt in Australia is the same as the USA. Thank you
joe - Debary/Florida(5 years ago)
G'day Joe,
Great question, yes 12 volt is 12 volt whether you're in the USA or Australia. Unfortunately, we don't ship parcels outside of Australia, but if you can get your hands on one of these somehow then you'll be able to plug it into your vehicle.

240v adaptor 1 answer
Do you sell the 240v to 12v adaptor that is listed on the box?
Hello, does the fan operate at a reasonable noise level or does it run quietly, when being used whilst sleeping? Thank you, Ray
Ray - Melton South, VIC(6 years ago)
G'day Ray,
I've been down to the shop floor and tried this one out on all three settings. On the highest setting it definitely makes a bit of noise, but on the medium and low settings, it seems pretty reasonable. Keep in mind there's a bit of background noise here in the shop so it's hard for me to honestly say how much you'll notice it at night when everything's nice and quiet.
Tim - Snowys(6 years ago)
I recently bought this item and for someone who is a light sleeper this fan is great. The noise is simply like white noise with no annoying clicking. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Current Draw1 answer
Can anyone confirm the current draw?
I have built a 12v system for my camper, and need to add this into my calcs to see if we can run it.
Thanks
Jack - Western Australia 6065(7 years ago)
G'day Jack,
The current draw on the Outdoor Connection Breezeway depends on the fan setting being used. The figures that Outdoor Connection have provided us are Low - 0.2Ah | Medium - 0.4Ah | High - 1.05Ah ( /- 0.05Ah). I hope this will help you get your system all sorted out.

will it work up side down?1 answer
want to mount on the ceiling
paul - bundaberg(7 years ago)
G'day Paul,
There is nothing to say that the Outdoor Connection Breezeway 12V Fan officially can or can't hang upside down, but I've just gone and fired our display one up and held it upside down for a few minutes and it seemed to work fine.

Charging time?2 answers
Running time on low?
Janet Smith - Trinity Beach(7 years ago)
G'day Janet,
The Outdoor Connection Breezeway 12V Fan doesn't have a charge time as it comes with a built-in battery, as it runs directly from a 12v source.
Ben - Snowys(7 years ago)
G'day Ben,
Sorry, yes. You're right, I worded that previous answer really poorly. It doesn't have a battery, it just runs straight from the 12V connection. Sorry for any confusion!

What is the volume of air the van delivers1 answer
Peter - NEWCASTLE WEST, NSW(9 years ago)
Unfortunately this sort of information is not supplied for any of the fans in our range sorry Peter. The best information I can give you is that this fan, along with the new fans from Coleman are the best 12V fans we have seen to date, and would be enough to efficiently move air around a family sized tent.

Reg - 2650(9 years ago)

Details for Breezeway 12v Fan1 answer
Do the feet have to be secured while in use ?
Can the fan be adjusted up and down ?
If placed at end of bed in a caravan will it send a good breeze over the full length of the bed ?
What material is it made from ?
Thank you. Peter.
Peter Wagstaff - MIDDLE RIDGE, QLD(9 years ago)
Hi Peter, the feet don't need to be secured, it has a plastic body, feet and blades and there are no 'up/down' adjustments. In terms of air flow, the blade diameter is large and it will give more than enough circulation over the area of a bed, especially on the highest setting. Hope this answers all your queries.
