Comfort for short legs1 answer
Hi, I struggle with many camp chairs as my feet can't fully reach the ground and I get pressure and muscle pain just behind my knees. Can you give me a measurement from the ground to the front edge of this chair please?
Rob - Melbourne, VIC(2 weeks ago)
G'day Rob,
The seat heat on the Oztent Pilot DLX is 43cm - hope that helps!

Replacement parts1 answer
We have the older model DX chairs and require a new arm. Does the replacementr arm for the DLX fit the onto the DX and if so is it available as a part?
Dennis - Brisbane, QLD(11 months ago)
G'day Dennis,
That's an excellent question and not something we can confirm in terms of compatibility sorry! Stoked to hear you're investigating a repair option though, I reckon Oztent will be your best bet for this info as well as sourcing a part if it's available. They may be closed over the Christmas/New Year period, but you can fill out a contact form here & they'll get back to you ASAP.

Black Chair?1 answer
I was in your Brendale store on the weekend and saw this chair in black with red writing at the top. It was the same price as this one. How can I get the black variant?
Clinton - Wooloowin(6 years ago)
G'day Clinton,
From what I can tell from our system, we currently have the grey and black version of the Oztent Pilot DLX chair, which is the latest version.
As far as I can find out, the older version of this chair was red and black, so it may have been an older display model that you saw in our Brendale store.
As it was probably an in-line change, it might be tricky to know for sure if there is a black/red model still available - the best thing to do would be to give our customer service team a buzz on 1300 914 007 and they can try and follow this up for you.

New, New DLX Jet Chair1 answer
Hi there, I've noticed that in the last week the Jet Chair DLX on Oztent's site has been updated - chair appears to be the same but with new Oztent Branding (orange logo). Model is OPT03FRCHA. Just wondering if Snowy's will be getting this in? Keen to check it out.
Melissa - Brisbane(6 years ago)
G'day Melissa,
The new model of the Oztent Pilot Chair DLX is on its way to us but with it being the new model it might take a couple of months before we start seeing the new stock on our shelves.

Branding1 answer
Are these available to brand/cobrand?
Margie - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Margie,
This isn't something we can arrange on a single run but we'd be happy to chat with Oztent for you if you wanted to pursue it further.

Are the feet metal ?1 answer
The base feet of the chair are they metal or plastic and does the front armrest have a little clip that you press to stack the chair away.
It's just trying to find the same as what my Friend has
Garry - Perth(8 years ago)
Hi Garry,
The feet on this particular chair are cast metal which provides a strong and durable anchor point for the cross arms and legs. They are dimpled underneath to add some grip when on a hard concrete surface. Cheers!

We have looked at other models of this chair on the Oz Tent site and cannot find the DLX model. There are L, XL, and DX. How does this DXL model differ from the DX model shown on the manufactures site?1 answer
Catherine - POKOLBIN, NSW(9 years ago)
The DX and DLX are the same chair Catherine. Oztent have it named the DX on their website, but the chair actually has DLX embroidered into the logo. You can actually see the 'DLX' if you look closely at the image on both our and Oztent's site.

Is the lumbar support height adjustable?2 answers
I saw a utube video that showed the lumbar support could be set to three diff heights. This wads US video though I think.
Kylie Hetherton - Yarraberb(9 years ago)
I'm pretty sure it is adjustable with a strap Kylie, but I'm not sure about 3 set adjustments. I'm back in the store on Monday, I'll have a look at the chair then and post my findings back here for you. Have a good weekend.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
Good morning Kylie, I have learnt something new today. The lumbar support is in fact height adjustable on the Jet Tent Pilot Chair. The adjustable strap can be fed through on of three sleeves on the back of the seat, making it adjustable in both height and depth. Sounds, and feels pretty comfortable!
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
is the chair as in the photo - same colour and comes with the flat arm rests (not the round)1 answer
MIchael - CARINGBAH, NSW(9 years ago)
Hi Michael, yes the chair is as per the photo. I vaguely recall an update on these recently, and we have the current model in stock. The arms have rounded sides with a flat surface about 3 cm wide along the top.
