Is shellite fuel suitable for this stove and if so a cleaner burning option to unleaded petrol?
G'day Franco,
Colemans Liquid Fuel is Shellite with so additives, so it's 100% ok to use shellite.
In terms of being a cleaner-burning option, the verdict is out on that. There seems to be a lot of divided opinions amongst the dual fuel stove owners community. It just seems like the best thing is to try a few different fuels and find the ones that work best for you.
What the best fuel option for this stove? I want something that will be economical and not smoke so much
G'day Garry,
Coleman have suggested unleaded petrol or Coleman branded fuel, which I dare say is what people most commonly use.
We have had feedback from customers that the unleaded e10 ethanol-blended fuel is an excellent option, so maybe worth a try.
I think this is going to be more of an opinion based answer, and you may get different suggestions from different people, so it may just be a case of trying a few options to see which one works best for you.
553 Weight pls. Ur site 900gms. Coleman Aust 1.4kg. Correct weight pls?
G'day Tic,
The Coleman Guide stove is finally back in stock, and we've weighed it at just under 900g.
Generally the specs we have listed are the real-life ones we've personally checked ourselves.
I imagine the 1.4kg weight on Colemans' website is referring to when the stove is full of fuel.
Does this stove come with the filter/funnel for refilling or is this needed to be purchased separately?
G'day Peter,
Thanks for the question! This stove does come with a red filter funnel.
...I have noticed you say late June 2017, but I've also see other goods which have to be pre-ordered which say they should have been available in Early June which is long past.Do you supply spare parts for this stove.
G'day Linley,
Thanks for letting us know, we do try and keep on top of these things, but we have had some system changeovers - so I do apologise about that. I'll make sure that gets updated to reflect the correct details.
Spare parts for this stove aren't an off the shelf item, but we should be able to get spare parts in depending on what they are.
Wondering when you are getting these back in stock?
Hi Mark,
At this point in time Coleman hasn't been able to advise a resupply timeframe for these.
There is currently a global shortage of this item, and they've not been available for about 6 months.
As soon as we're able to get a solid timeframe from Coleman we'll advertise it in the red out of stock banner on the website.
6 inch sewer pipe with two slide on caps.
They used to be available here with the plastic case. Got a few mates that have them. I'm 99% sure back in the day Snowys did sell them in the case too
Thanks for your input Drew,
I've just checked the current Coleman catalogue, and the case is still not something that we are able to get our hands on, sorry about that everyone!
