The measurement between the armrests on the Oztrail Galaxy 3 Seater Chair is about 160cm. Although, if I was to be totally honest, I've tried laying on these before and they're not super comfy to lie on, which you might want to think about before taking the plunge on buying one for laying on.

It does depend a little on which 3 individual chairs you're comparing it to but the Oztrail Galaxy 3 Seater Chair is significantly smaller than the 3 of the Oztrail Deluxe Jumbo Armchair for example.

G'day Jen,

I've just had a lay down on the Oztrail Galaxy 3 Seater Chair to test the theory for you. There aren't poles that run down between the seats but the material is tighter between the seats so it does create a bit of a hard spot there anyway. I found it comfortable enough to lie over but it definitely wouldn't be something I would want to do for a whole day or anything like that.
