Difference?1 answer
What’s the difference between this stove and the Companion 2 burner, aside from the obvious additional burner. Is the 2 burner more powerful or different altogether?
Lou - Warrandyte South, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Lou,
I assume you might be looking at the difference between the Deluxe 3 Burner and the 2 Burner High Output Stove?
If so, then the 2 Burner High Output has a much higher overall output, of 25,000 BTU per burner, while the Deluxe 3 Burner has two burners that are 8600 BTU, and one central burner that is 6400 BTU.

Dose this stove need a regulator1 answer
Dose this stove need a regulator if you use a 4kg POL gas bottle
Barry - Cardiff south(4 years ago)
G'day Barry,
No, the Deluxe 3 burner stove won't work if you try to run it through a regulator. You can run it from a 4kg POL LPG bottle, you'll just need the POL to 3/8" BSP adapter.

Carry bag with grill -update1 answer
Hi, I couldn't find the previously recommended OzTrail 3 burner stove and grill bag on your website. Could you please recommend a bag you currently hold that will accommodate this stove and the 'Campfire 3 Burner gas Cooker Plate'. Thanks.
Andrew - Melbourne(4 years ago)
G'day Andrew,
I've just checked this for you and I can confirm that the Deluxe 3 Burner Stove will fit in the Hyperflame Stove Carry Bag. This is the only current bag we have that will fit this stove.

Hey, just wondering if this is low pressure or high pressure? Also does it simmer? 1 answer
The 3 burner I have at the moment and it’s all or nothing and I want a low pressure 3 burner that goes straight into a swap and go 3kg bottle
Daniel - Kensington (6 years ago)
G'day Daniel,
The Companion Deluxe 3 Burner Stove is a High-Pressure stove, but you'll be able to use it with a swap and go bottle by attaching an adapter to the end of the hose. The stove itself has an adjustable temperature control so the heat can be varied. The central smaller burner will be the best option for simmering.

Compatible BBQ Plate1 answer
Could you please let me know what bbq plate you recommend for this cooker?
Sharon - Woodend, Vic(6 years ago)
G'day Sharon,
The Campfire 3 Burner Gas Cooker Plate is the best option we'd have for your stove. It will be a little shorter than the stove but will cover the majority of the 3 burners.

What about Gas safety Gauge in 9kg cylinder? Any hose for that? 1 answer
Hi we have a9kg cylinder and this stove. We need a gas safety gause which connects to the cylinder and fits the stove too
Naman - Sydney(6 years ago)
G'day Naman,
If you wanted to use a Gas Safety Gauge and a 9kg gas bottle with the Primus Deluxe 3 Burner Stove you certainly can. You will just need this adapter to use between the hose and the gauge.

Suitable carry bag?2 answers
Hi there, I bought this stove a few months back and it's a beauty, but the box has fallen apart and I was wondering if you have a suitable canvas style bag that would fit this stove?
Mike - Gymea Bay(6 years ago)
G'day Mike,
The Oztrail 3 Burner Stove & BBQ Plate Bag would be the best option for fitting the Primus Deluxe 3 Burner Stove inside.
Ben - Snowys(6 years ago)
G'day Mike,
Rest assured, it'll work fine. I've just given it a quick whirl to be sure. Even though the bag isn't quite long enough, because it's deeper and wider than it needs to be, the bag morphs around the stove quite comfortably.

Replacement Gas Hose1 answer
Could you please confirm which hose is the correct replacement one.
Rob - Oyster Bay(6 years ago)
G'day Rob,
The hose you'll need for your Primus Deluxe 3 Burner Stove is the Companion High Pressure 3/8" Coarse Thread Gas Hose. At the moment, we've not got them online but we will hopefully shortly. If you wanted to grab one, just give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 and our customer service team can give you a hand over the phone.

Table top use and drip tray1 answer
Hi there,
Wondering if this stove is safe to use directly on top of a plastic blow mould table or if I need a separate metal stand, more than the attached little folding metal legs?
Also is it easy to clean? I notice wide gaps around the burners - is there another drip tray under that / how would you clean under the burners if stuff flowed into that gap?
Thanks!
John - Canberra(7 years ago)
G'day John,
I'd recommend using a stove stand or using something to create a little more distance between your table and your Primus Deluxe 3 Burner Stove, I just think you're better off erring on the side of caution. As for cleaning it, it doesn't come apart to allow you to get under the drip tray, no, but I there is a lip near the edge, so I think you'd be pretty unlucky to ever get any spills in underneath the stove.

Stand?1 answer
Hi,
Can you get a stand for this stove?
Thanks
Paul - 2000(8 years ago)
G'day Paul,
We've only got one stove stand available at the moment which is a 2 burner size from Zempire. At this time we actually don't stock a stove stand that will accommodate the length of a 3 burner stove.
Your best bet would be a small table that can withstand heat, just to be on the safe side - as if the stand is too small it may unbalance the stove when in use.

Gas fitting2 answers
Does the fitting on the 1.2 meter hose fit a 9kg gas bottle? Or is it a different thread?
Michael - Canbera(8 years ago)
G'day Michael,
We do have a 1.5m Primus hose that fits a 9kg bottle with a POL fitting that will fit on your Primus portable stove. It can be found on this link: https://www.snowys.com.au/cylinder-hose-kit-pol Cheers!
Nick - Snowys(8 years ago)
**Update to this one, the link above is for a different hose! You can use this stove with a 9kg has bottle using this adapter

Does it have attachable legs1 answer
Peter - MOUNT GAMBIER, SA(8 years ago)
G’day Peter, I’ve just had a look at our display model and the Primus Deluxe 3 Burner Stove does have metal legs that fold out, which raise the stove to about 5cm off the table. If you look closely at the image linked on the product page you can just see them under the knobs.
