With a consistent warmth along the full length of the mat, plus the soft-touch stretch upper fabric – wake up warm after easy dreaming. Be set up by sundown and backpacking by daybreak, owed to diagonal supporting foam walls for compact rolling and a multi-functional valve for effortless inflation and deflation.

R value for Womens vrs mens bag - 5.1 and 4.11 answer
Why is the womens bag having a higher R rating over the men's. - they seem to have the same specs, Is it a mistake or is it fact ?
Trevor - YANKALILLA(2 years ago)
The womens mat has a slightly different shape, Trevor. Whilst the amount of material used is the same for both mat sizes, the women's is shorter overall and the foam that removed from the length is left in the body of the mat to increase warmth. This is on account of women generally sleeping colder than men, so in theory a man sleeping on a regular mat will be as warm as a woman sleeping on a wonen's mat in the same environment.
