Hello the backpacker version has a warning that the repellant is high risk to honeybees and I’m wondering if the lantern is the same? Is there a warning on the packaging about using it around bees? Does it kill them? Are the pads in the backpacker the same as the lantern?
Nicole - Yea, VIC (1 month ago)
G'day Nicole,
The lantern does have the same caution/warning about use with honeybees. We're unsure what extent of harm the product would have on them as the label just states it poses a high risk to beneficial invertebrates and says not to use in areas where bees are foraging or near plants likely to be visited by bees.
The pads in the backpacker and lantern are the same and can be used across all the thermacall range. The only difference is that the lanterns use the single butane cartridge whereas the backpacker uses a camping gas cartridge.
I hope this helps!

Light usage1 answer
Hi, Is it possible to use this without using the light at the same time please?
Monika - Glenroy NSW(4 years ago)
G'day Monika,
The lantern and the repellant components can be operated independently, so you can have light without repellency, or repellency without light, or both together.
