Bayonet connection1 answer
Can this stove be connected to a bayonet fitting?
Christian - Gawler, SA(2 months ago)
G'day Christian,
No, you can't. This is a high-pressure stove that requires an unregulated gas supply. Caravan bayonet gas systems are regulated, so won't be able to provide enough gas for this stove to operate.
Australian Gas Association standard recently changed, meaning that no camping stoves designed for standard LPG bottles, that do require regulated gas, can be used with alternative hoses or adaptors to connect to bayonet systems. If you need a stove option for your caravan, the Companion Proheat 2 Burner Low Pressure Stove can be used with a bayonet system and has the FSD required.

Zempire camping stove1 answer
Our gas stove keeps flaring up when in use. Can you give us a solution please
Dianne - Dunbogan, NSW(2 months ago)
G'day Dianne,
We're not able to trouble shoot going off this info alone, sorry! Are you turning your gas off at the bottle when the stove isn't in use? Otherwise, send us an email to service@snowys.com.au & give us as much detail as you can about what's happening.

Mokka Coffee Pot1 answer
This stove has made it to the top of my shortlist. The only question i have is - will my mokka style coffee percolator fit on the hot plate stand, or not? Diameter at base of my coffee percolator is approx 11cm. Can you please help with guidance on this? Thanks so much
Kate - Yamba, NSW(6 months ago)
G'day Kate,
The Coffee Percolator may be a bit small to sit on the grill and may not stay sturdy. You can remove the toaster attachment from the side of the stove, put that on top of the burner or unfold it and that should create a spot for the percolator to sit!

Recommended gas bottle setup1 answer
Hi Snowys. I purchased this stove and used it for the first time on the weekend. Setup was linked up to a 4kg swap’n’go gas bottle with LCC27 valve, so I had to use an adaptor which I purchased from Bunnings. The connection between the hose (supplied with the stove) and the adaptor leaked, even after applying gas tape to the thread on the hose. What is the recommended setup for this stove to avoid gas leaking? Would it be to use a different gas bottle that doesn’t require an adapter, and if so can you please direct me to the right bottle? I wanted to use the swap n go bottles for ease of use and not having to find somewhere to get the gas refilled every time, but not at risk of having a leaky hose connection. Thanks Claire
Claire - Queenscliff, NSW (9 months ago)
G'day Claire,
The Zempire stoves come with a 3/8th BSP hose, which means they require a 3/8th BSP gas bottle which is one of the most common options for camping due to their size & the fact that they're refillable. The Swap & Go bottles are appealing for that convenience factor, but wont be directly compatible with most stoves. For the most part, we don't recommend using gas adapters as the chances of leaking are significantly increased. Check out our range of 3/8th gas bottles here.

Zempire stove problems 1 answer
Hi, I'm having problems with my new stove, burner furthest from gas inlet stopped working on second use. We've tried it multiple occasions and still no luck. We've been travelling for 10 days, first trip out and now frustrated with it. Any tips to resolve this problem please
Melissa - Morphett Vale, SA (1 year ago)
G'day Melissa,
Without being there in person it's hard to diagnose. One of the reasons that a burner will stop working is being clogged from dirty gas. This could be from using an older bottle that is left outside in the weather, and grit getting into the top of the bottle, being blown in when the gas bottle is turned on. Inside the gas tubes on the stove will be a jet, and if this jet is blocked or partially blocked then it will do what you're experiencing.
The gas tubes dont flex, shrink or expand, or have any moving parts so the chances of a manufacturing failure is slim. However, our warranty team would like to explore the issue further, and find a fix for you, so jump on over to our Warranty Page & fill out a claim.
There's no issues using the stove as you can in the meantime!

Packed size1 answer
Hi guys Does the packed dimension of 320mm wide include the control knobs?
Chris - Mayfield, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Chris,
Yes, they do. The packed dimensions are the most external points of the product when it's packed up for storage or between uses, incorporating all elements. Hope that helps.

Hot Plate 1 answer
Hi, I'm looking at purchasing the Zempire gas cooker, can you recommend a hot plate that would suit and fit over just one burner please.
Haley - Macksville, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Haley,
Unfortunately theres no suitable hot plat that would fit over one burner only for this stove. You could consider the Campfire Square Fry Pan as an alternative.

Will this work with a regulator1 answer
If I got a longer hose for this that came with a 2.75kPa regulator will the stove still work fine?
Alisha - Brisbane, QLD(2 years ago)
G'day Alisha,
This stove requires an unregulated or high pressured LPG supply. If you use this with a regulated hose or a regulated gas supply, the jets wont allow enough gas through to the burners, and it will not operate.

Semiprecious deluxe wide camp stove 1 answer
Hi, can I connect this to a bayonet fitting on my van ? Shane
Shane - Black Head, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Shane,
No, you can't. This is a high output stove that requires an unregulated gas supply.
If you are needing a stove option for your caravan, the best bet is to get in touch with a caravan-specific gear retailer who can point you in the right direction.

Campfire stove stand1 answer
Will this fit on the camp fire stove stand securely? Or is a table a better option
Tim - Murrumba Downs, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Tim,
Yes, the 2 Burner Deluxe Wide Camp Stove will suit the Campfire stove stand, however if you want something a little more robust, we'd recommend checking out the Easy As Stove Stand.

Run time 1 answer
How long would it run with both burners on full with a 4kg gas bottle
Jack - Wallan, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Jack,
Run times arent generally provided with stoves, however, the consumption rate is 540 g/h for both burners of full. You can use this to work out a rough time frame depending on the size of your gas bottle.

Griddle1 answer
Is there a griddle that will fit this stove? Thank you!
Hi team, just wondering if this stove could be used with coleman propane cylinder? If so does it need any extra fitting? Thank you.
Patrick - Upper Mount Gravatt,, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Patrick,
Theoretically, you can use this adapter to run this stove from Coleman Propane Cylinders. It isn't something we'd recommend, as there is no safe way to secure the cylinder, however plenty of people do this, it is best to just proceed with caution.
