Unfortunately yes, the 12mm Supex Non-Taint Drinking Water Hose does contain latex.
You can easily upgrade to fittings to compatible brass ones from a local hardware store though, which should see you right.

I've called Supex, and they've confirmed that the hoses are UV stabilised.

If and of our products don't do what they claim to do, Peter, then you are well within your rights to return the product. This hose meets all food-grade standards and is FDA approved so you shouldn't have any problems.

In my experience, however, in instances where water is left stagnant in the hose for long periods i.e. days, or is in the sun for some time, it can still take on some flavours from the hoses or vessels they are stored in, but with regular use, your water should stay clean and fresh tasting.
