Can you upgrade this unit with a regular antenna down the line? I don't have a bull bar at but will be getting one soonish.

G'day Ronnie,
According to the product manual, you can connect any 477 MHz antenna via the FME coaxial connector terminal on the rear panel. It looks like you'll be able to upgrade to something more suitable when you have your bullbar installed.

Antenna cable length1 answer
May I ask how long the cable is length is for the magnetic Antenna?
Brad - Asquith, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Brad,
I grabbed on new out of the box, so the cable was still a bit stiff and kinked...so from the very end of the connector to the base on the antenna, I'd call it an even 3m.
