X Pot kettle. 1 answer
Hello Lauren. The cook top to be used is an induction plate in a camper. Does the kettle work on an induction cook top?
Jay - Springwood, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day again Jay,
As the base is 5052 aluminium, it isn't magnetic, and therefore can't be used on an induction cooktop.

X pot kettle 2L1 answer
Can the kettle be used on a glass cook top?
Jay - Springwood, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Jay,
By glass cooktop I'm assuming you mean an electric one as opposed to induction? I can't see any reason why you couldn't, but you would need to adhere to the maximum flame/heat distribution ring printed on the base of the kettle. This is there to ensure the silicone sides of the kettle avoid as much direct heat as possible, so will mean you'd have to use the smallest 'burner' option.

On the hyperflame1 answer
Would this kettle fit well and recommended for use with the Coleman's Hyperflame?
Ajay - Darwin(3 years ago)
G'day Ajay,
The X Pot Kettle is recommended for use on smaller, portable hiking stoves. There is a ring on the bottom of the kettle indicating the maximum width of flame suitable, and this is usually way smaller than the standard camping stove is capable of, especially something like the Hyperflame which is quite powerful.
