Can you put boiling water?1 answer
Hi there ~ are these bowls compatible with adding water boiled over the little burner, to then mix in with say rice/make a meal?
Emily - Adelaide Bc, SA (2 months ago)
G'day Emily,
You can add boiling water to these bowls, but you can't boil water in them - just to clarify. They're not insulated & wouldn't hold heat for a long time, so you're better to make your meal in cookwear that can go on the stove, and serve in this bowl. Something would normally add boiling water too, say oat porridge sachet, or similar, would be ok.

Do these have lids?
Anne - Cannonvale, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Anne,
No, they don't but you could look at the X Seal & Go Bowl as an alternative!

Is this bowl material (also the mugs) microwave safe?1 answer
Mel - NORTH MACKAY, QLD(9 years ago)
Good question Mel, and while I thought I was going to come back to you with a negative response, there is in fact a microwave safe symbol on the base of the whole x-series range of tableware. This is not the case with the newer x-pots and x-kettles which have an alloy base. Putting these in the microwave, whilst producing an interesting light show, would render your pot, and possibly your microwave useless.
