Are the trivets suited to flat bottomed pans, eg a fry pan?
Neil - Point Vernon, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Neil,
Yep, this burner has the flexibility to be used with all cookware. If you check out the last image on the product page, you'll see a normal flat bottomed pot sitting on the stove, as an example, so you shouldnt have nay trouble with a frypan.

BBQ plate1 answer
Is it possible to use a bbq plate with this cooker.
Jeff - Salisbury East, SA (2 years ago)
G'day Jeff,
I'm sure it's physically possible but we don't have any plates large enough to span this wok cooker. In terms of how effective and functional it would be, I can't say for sure. The gap between both burners is quite large, and you'd likely have a big cold spot in the middle of your hotplate.

Heat from base?1 answer
Do these units throw out a lot of heat from the base? Would it be ok on a black wolf bamboo table top? Cheers
Jeremy - Sawtell, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Jeremy,
Generally bamboo table tops are heat resistant and fairly safe to pop a camp stove on. Obviously, it's important to use common sense, and just be mindful of your camp cooking setup. If in doubt you can always pop an insulative layer like a thick teatowel, etc underneath.
