Aluminum tanks1 answer
Is it safe to use for cleaning aluminum tanks?
Filippo - Perth, WA (1 month ago)
G'day Filippo,
Its not safe to use with aluminium sorry, all tank sanitisers have oxidising agents which can't be used with aluminium because they cause corrosion. Its also highly unusual to come across an aluminium tank that is drinking water safe!

Stainless steel tank1 answer
Can WaterPure Tank Sanitiser be used in stainless steel tank and left over night
Craig - The Vines, WA(1 year ago)
G'day Craig,
Yep, absolutely - as long as you are following the recommended dosage for your tank size. The active constituents are Silver Ions and Hydrogen Peroxide, both of which are safe to use with Stainless Steel. Hope that helps!

Active ingredients3 answers
I can't see what the active ingredients are by looking at the bottle. The Biomagic website also doesn't describe the ingredients.
Craig - Thirroul, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Craig,
The active constituents of the WaterPure are: 93.9g/L Hydrogen Peroxide 0.086g/L Silver Ions
Hope that helps!
Lauren - Snowys(1 year ago)
Hi Lauren, it was the Tank Sanitiser I was asking about, not the Water Pure.
Craig - Thirroul(1 year ago)
G'day Craig,
Yep, thats what I was talking about too - also "WaterPure", I just didn't add the TS on the end sorry.

20lt water containers1 answer
Would 10ml treat a 20lt plastic water container
Dave - Rosebud Plaza, VIC (3 years ago)
G'day Dave,
You probably could, but it's unnecessary for small containers & jerry cans. This treatment is designed for larger water tanks that are unable to be cleaned out easily by other means or able to be flushed or rinsed out without hassle, such as in-built or under-vehicle tanks. I can't see any reason why you couldn't, if it's something you would like to use.

Does this product remove scale/calcium deposits?1 answer
.
Laura - Bayswater (6 years ago)
G'day Laura,
It doesnt, no. This product is only designed to create a sterile tank environment so fresh water to be stored for longer.
Vinegar and Citric Acid are recommended for descaling, but the watertank needs to be isolated to prevent any risk of corrosion.
You can call BioMagic directly for further information on descaling, they have over 22 years of caravan expirence & love helping out with advice.
