Specifically: https://www.snowys.com.au/heavy-duty-green-h2o-jerry-can-22l Wondering if this will also fit the green jerry can? If possible, could you check whether it would seal the container while the standard green lid is hanging off from its strap? Idea is to run a hose through this lid from my pump and then use the standard green lid when filling the container at a tap.

G'day Luke,

Unfortunately the Water Drum Cap won't fit the Heavy Duty Green Jerry Can, that particular model has a narrower cap that isn't compatible with this replacement cap. The Water Drum Cap will fit the white 20L Jerry Cans, and the HD Green H20 Jerry Can 22L Cap will fit the Heavy Duty Green Jerry Cans, so you should be able to do what you're proposing, just with a different cap!
