G'day Katie,
Yes you'll need an adapter to use the CF-18 on mains 240V power. You can find the adapter you need under the 'you might also like' section below the Q&As, or you can find the direct link here

Re Waeco cf-181 answer
Hi, I would like to know if the Waeco cf18 has screw on feet as I want to bolt it on to a fridge slide. Thanks.
Steve - Drouin(5 years ago)
G'day Steve,
The Dometic Waeco CF18 doesn't have feet per se but they do have small rubber rings, attached with allen screws, to give it abit of surface grip. Hope that helps.

Which battery should I choose when 8 purchase the cf18, a 44 ah agm or 26 ah lithium? 1 answer
Hi, I’m wanting to purchase the cf 18 but can’t decide between the 44 ah domestic agm or a 26 ah lithium that can only be charged with a 60w solar panel. Any advice which is better for running this fridge? Cheers
Emma - Duncraig (5 years ago)
G'day Emma,
There's a few factors to consider here, which will include your charging method. We tend to find most people want the option to charge their battery at home before they leave on a trip, so an AGM battery might be the better option here. I'm not 100% sure which lithium battery you're referring to, but the 44AH AGM battery will give you plenty of power for the CF-18, and should do the trick.

The Domwtic Waeco CF-18 Fridge Freezer has 2 different compartments. One half is 33.5cm deep for bottles, the other half is 18.5cm deep for cans. Hope that helps.

kWh rating correct?2 answers
Hi, I've just gone through every calculator I can find and the 78 kWh/24hr figure just doesn't seem right. Could you please confirm that figure or even ask Dometic for an Ah rating.
Mike - Port Macquarie(6 years ago)
G'day Mike,
We've previously contacted Dometic about this as the figure is obviously different to the Ah ratings on most of the rest of their range. We have done some calculations to convert the kWh/24 hours to Ah and the figure is approximately 0.5 amps per hour, which we're pretty confident is correct.

After much head scratching and reading a lot of other fridge spec sheets, I’ve found that the consumption figure should read 78 kWh/year not per 24hrs. This equates 0.74 Ah.

How many ah does this use to constantly freeze ? I don’t understand the kWh/24h figure.1 answer
I want a small efficient freezer
Chris - Myrrhee(6 years ago)
G'day Chris,
I've just done some rough calculations based on the 78kWh/24h listed by Dometic for you. This converts to approximately 0.5Ah based on running the unit at 5'C interior, 25'C exterior. Running the unit on freezer mode will obviously increase this figure, but Dometic hasn't got any recorded data on this as their standard testing is for the fridge mode.
