If your adventures involve canyoning, rivers or persistently wet climates where your gear may be exposed to more moisture than the condensation inside your tent, a synthetic filled sleeping bag is a smart choice. The Sea to Summit Voyager Vy4 is filled with hollow fibre material that will trap warm air and keep you warm in any cold and wet (some would say miserable) environment!
Two layers of Thermolite® insulation is sewn into the bag in an offset shingle baffle construction that eliminates any cold spots where fill gets compressed along the stitching. On the outside, a 30D nylon shell features a DWR coating that minimises moisture ingress, and the bag is lined with a polyester that is both soft and warm to touch.
Decked out with all the features you expect in a technical outdoor bag including neck baffle, 3D hoot, draft tubes and side and foot zippers, the Voyager Vy4 has an efficient mummy design with a roomy foot box, it’s affordably priced and is the sort of bag that will keep you sleeping soundly on any cold and wet adventure.

This compressed size is wrong?1 answer
The table says the compressed volume is 1.14 L
I think you probably mean 11.4 L ?

G'day Rich,
Good pick up, thanks for pointing that out for us. You're right, it is supposed to be 11.4L, we'll get that fixed up right away.

How to store these bags3 answers
Just bought 2 of these, should they be stored packed or not. Sea to summit says use the mesh storage supplied with every sea to summit bag... we didnt get these? Also on opening up, they were rolled, should we always roll store? Wife was always told to 'scrunch' ?? thanks
Ron - MOORE CREEK, NSW(9 years ago)
G'day Ron - Great question! The mesh storage cubes are available with the down bags. The reason being - you want to keep the down lofted up as much possible so that it doesn't get damaged or lose its effectiveness. The Voyager has synthetic fill so is much more forgiving, but too can benefit from being stored in a more lofty way. Got a couple of old pillowcases? Store each bag in a pillowcase. Best way to place the bag in the stuff sack? You deserve a high five if you can place your bag back in the stuff sack the way it came. I'm a scruncher - or should that be stuffer? There's something strangely fun about cramming a sleeping bag back in its sack. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

What size Dry bag does this sleeping bag require?
Anthony - Kingscote (6 years ago)
G'day Anthony,
The compressed volume of the Voyager Vy4 Sleeping Bag is 11.4L, so we'd generally suggest a 20L dry sack, or a Large Compression Dry Sack so you can fit it in and then compress the bag.
