Room for the kids, their friends, your neighbours and the dog, the Oztrail Villa Dome Tent features four rooms, all with their own entrance and just about every feature you could ask for in a family tent.

Near vertical steel poles combine with fibreglass roof sections to create a roomy and semi-rigid pole structure that flexes in the wind and provides amply interior space. Doors can be extended as awnings all the way around the and provide total climate control when when combined with four windows in the rear section.

Privacy screens feature on all doors and windows and No-See-Um mesh throughout keeps insects at bay. Handy features include interior accessible boot/storage lockers, power lead access and light attachment and various internal organiser pockets in each room.

The 20^th Anniversary Edition Oztrail Villa Dome is made with upgraded fabrics and strengthened reinforcing around the pole and peg attachments, a new colour scheme and comes complete in a wheeled carry bag.

how long does it take to set up, install the tent?

Hi Jack, We don't currently have a setup video for this tent, so I've asked the team to help me out with this question. We'll get back to you on Monday with some helpful information on setup time and see what we can do for you in terms of an instructional video. Hi Jack, Natâ€™s just passed this onto me to follow up. Unfortunately due to the size of these tents it is difficult for us to create set up videos, so I apologise that we could not give you more help with this. Iâ€™ve had a look for you and Oztrail does not have a video for the Villa Dome 20th Anniversary, but they do have a set up guide which Iâ€™ve attached as a PDF under â€˜Detailsâ€™ on the page. This is definitely not a quick pitch tent, so you may be looking at a 45 minute set up depending on your experience.

G'day again Steve - The anniversary edition of the Villa Dome came onto the market in 2014. The manufacture date will depend on the tent that is picked for you. But it will be sometime over the past 2-3 years. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

The Villa Dome doesn't have any instant pitch features Jess, the poles are a combination of steel and fibreglass that are all assembled and disassembled independently to the tent. The front room is part of the tent and is not removable so you can't leave rooms off, it all needs to be pitched at the same time. It's big, but very live-able.

Hi Shane, there are two awning poles included with the Villa Dome, but extra poles can be purchased online. Oztrail do an awning pole kit that contains two poles with a packed size that fits into most existing tent bags. Search for product code #23372 on our website.

I reckon we have one of the biggest tent displays in Australia Andrew, but we draw the line at these larger tents in the interest of floor space. We sell lots of them though, and feedback is positive. It offers tons of living space and given it is made of a polyester rather than a canvas it is relatively manageable to set up and transport.

Side bedrooms1 answer

Can you please provide the dimensions of the side bedrooms. I am wanting to use the Coleman Queen Dble-High with 240v pump quickbed airbed as beds in the bedrooms and need to know if they will fit? Does the airbed also come in double and single sizes? Airbed dimensions are 198 x 152 x 46cm. Many thanks

Thanks for your question Allison. Oztrail lists the dimensions as 200 x 280 for the two side rooms so the airbed would fit but at a pinch at the sides. In regards to the airbeds, a quick check on the Coleman website shows that apparently Queen is the only size for double high mattresses sorry. Please let us know if you need any more information.

Also how does it compare to the Coleman gold 8? Looking at camping around Cairns, so it will be hot and wet, with lots of bugs. I like the look of the main area where you can eat without bugs and have good all-round views.

This would be a great option for around cairns. The Cabin Gold by Coleman wonâ€™t be as big but it will be a bit faster to put together with its instant up pole design and has a very strong floor.
