Poles1 answer
Folks is there a way to stop the poles sliding? The awning itself is great, but upon setup when you extend the poles and “lock” them in, as soon as you apply any resistance (which is required to maintain the stability lol) they just slide down. They’re not actually locking into place

G'day Coral,
That's unusual, I haven't heard of that happening before. Can you tighten the screw on the side of the pole lock lever? Otherwise head to our Warranty Page and fill out a claim so the team can take a look into this one for you.

Comparability with OzTrail Mitchell Jumbo Swag1 answer
Hi, will this be attachable to the OzTrail Mitchell Jumbo Swag, the Swag doesn’t have a segment/pole which runs along the length of the swag.
Abdul - Canberra, ACT (1 year ago)
G'day Abdul,
No it wont - a you've mentioned, the Mitchel doesn't have a ridge pole. You'd still be able to set the Universal Swag Awning up like a tarp shelter over your swag though, similar to a traditional beach shelter - just make sure you've pegged all the guy ropes out and tensioned it well.

Rain?1 answer
Would this provide shelter from the rain?
Sarah - Fremantle, WA(1 year ago)
G'day Sarah,
Whilst Oztrail haven't provided a waterhead rating for this swag awning, it is made from a high denier material with a waterproof coating. There should be any issues with it keeping you dry, but just be mindful of how you set it up and obviously rain coming in through the open sides.

Sail track edge1 answer
Is the sail track on the long or short edge please?
Virginia - Brisbane, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Virginia,
The sail track is on the short edge, allowing you to have one end attached to the swag, and the other end attached to your awning. Hope that helps.

23zero outbreak swag1 answer
Would this be suitable for use with the outbreak swag? Does this connect to the outbreak swag using the clips on the center bar of the swag?
Shannon - Hervey Bay, QLD (2 years ago)
G'day Shannon,
It's essentially just a giant tarp with c-clips on each end, so it is indeed universal. You shouldn't have any issues using this with any kind of swag that has a crossbar.
