Yes the Black Wolf Turbo Lite Side Panel is waterproof with a 2000mm waterproof rating. They will give you protection from the rain.

I've just looked into this for you, and the Turbo Lite side panel comes with pegs so that you can peg it down to prevent it from flapping in the wind.

The Turbo Lite Side Panel can definitely be used with the Turbo Lite Twin 240 tent, as it's compatible with all Turbo tents that have a 3 pole awning.

All of the Black Wolf Side and Front Panels will fit both the old and new model tents, they've made sure to keep the fitting the same so you can use an older tent with new side panels, or vice versa! Hope this helps :) 

Sure can Dave, one wall will serve either side of your awning. So as you say, if you want to shield the sun or rain then you can move the wall from one side to the other, dependent on the weather direction.
